I Went To What I Am Calling An ~Adult Version~ Of Coachella In Napa Valley, And Here's What It Was Like

Wine country *and* country music? Sign me up.

Hey there, I am Krista, and I have never been to Coachella. While it appears to be a blast, logistically, it seems like it could be a pricey nightmare if you don't plan correctly. Plus, having to rub against sweaty bodies and get your toes trampled on multiple times daily seems less appealing the older I get.

But when I heard about an exclusive Napa Valley music festival called Live in the Vineyard, it seemed like a relaxing, more ~adult~ version of something like Coachella or Stagecoach. Even though this is an invite-only event (full info at the bottom of the post), I wanted to give a sneak peek into what a private event like this looks like. Attendees are able to take in live music, enjoy food from renowned chefs, and taste award-winning wines from Napa's top wineries. TRULY A VERY CLASSY ADULT EXPERIENCE IMO!

Live in the Vineyard has showcased artists like JP Saxe and Bebe Rexha in the past, but this year, it was Live in the Vineyard Goes Country featuring current, new, and up-and-coming country artists.

So, let's get into what the experience was like!

When I arrived, I wined, ate, wined, ate, wined, and wined again while enjoying the views at Cuvaison Winery and listening to live music from some really talented voices I had never heard before!

It was pretty cool to hear new songs live, within a few feet of my table. The whole experience is very intimate. So many of these artists have exploded on social media platforms like TikTok. Singer Dalton Dover has singles with millions of views.

And Tyra Madison has been catching the attention of millions of people as well with her beautiful songs like "Right Girl Wrong Time":

As someone who loves discovering new artists, I was LOVING this experience right away. After brunch, the event shuttle took us to a ~happy hour~ at Nickel and Nickel Winery. And...you guessed it, more food, music, and wine 🙂 (and country apparel for purchase!).

I am going to keep sprinkling in artists I heard that you should check out, like a duo named Neon Union. Their song "American Dirt" is so good:

POV: you write and release a song about the number one thing that brings your country music duo’s story together Andrew - grew up in the middle of nowhere with corn growing around him for miles Leo - first generation Honduran with big dreams for a better life We’re so thankful for the things that bring us together! 👊🏾👊🏼 #countrymusic #americandream #farmlife #firstgenerationamerican

In the evening, there were more intimate performances (and delicious food and wine, of course) by singers like Chase McDaniel, James Barker Band, Warren Zeiders, and more.

Another artist was Kimberly Kelly who sings songs like "Summers Like That" with her husband that are definitely worth checking out:

The next day, we went to the breathtaking Robert Mondavi Winery and enjoyed music from Kimberly Perry (yes, that's Kimberly who sings "If I Die Young" from The Band Perry!), LANCO, Jackson Dean, and Wade Bowen.

Also dropping in singer Cody Belew so you can check out his amazing songs, like "Charlene":

And I have to give a shoutout to this local Napa spot you should definitely check out if you go called Feast It Forward. This is where artists like Lauren Alaina and Jake Owen came for a little mingle before their evening performance.

As part of the experience, we got to watch the concert at the Uptown Theatre Napa. Lauren and Jake performed some of their hits — it was a great show.

And, on the final day at Regusci Winery, Jimmie Allen was the headliner to send people off with some of his popular singles, like "Best Shot."

To me, this event was absolutely worth it. You get to experience new wineries and good food in an intimate setting complete with some of the industry's top musical talent!

If you're sold and wondering how you can attend, nationwide promotions are held on the radio where fans can win tickets. In general, though, it is reserved for VIPs, music supervisors, music programmers, wineries, tastemakers, etc.
