This Guy Plays Popular Songs On Random Household Appliances And It's Incredible

Have you ever heard "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd played on a microwave?

Kurt Schneider is a musician and popular YouTuber who has quickly become known on TikTok for his videos performing famous songs on house appliances.

BuzzFeed spoke to Kurt, who said he has always enjoyed making music with random objects and things people don't consider musical instruments. "I've produced tracks with cellphones, Coke bottles, and I even made a song using only a potato," he laughed. So he and his friend, musician Jason Pitts, learned how to play this Harry Potter song on his washer and dryer:

The video quickly gained over 4 million views on TikTok. "It didn't take as long to make as you might think, maybe about five hours...which I guess is actually a long time to spend to make a 30-second TikTok, but honestly it was probably the best five hours I've ever spent," Kurt said.

The two have also had huge hits playing songs on other appliances — like when they played "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd on Kurt's microwave.

Or when they played "Yeah!" by Usher on his oven.

"We've been trying to make music on whatever we have around the house — even our door lock," Kurt explained.
