Recently, Evans ended up in an ongoing Twitter argument with David Duke, a US white supremacist and former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. Evans commented on Duke's support of the confirmation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Since then, Duke has directed a series of tweets at Evans, accusing him of being a "dumb actor" and supporting "Jewish extremists."

Captain America @ChrisEvans inspires the "Theoretical Marxist" in all of us.

On Sunday, Duke tweeted several photos of Evans with female celebrities, suggesting that it showed that Evans hates white women.
