The Lead Singer Of The 1975 Went On A Kanye-Esque Twitter Rant And It Was Perfect

Praying for a collaboration.

Over the weekend, British rock band Reverend and The Makers posted a tweet calling out Matt Healy, the lead singer of The 1975.

That 1975 lad does my cake in. Ur in boyzone mate. Ya not Cobain. Pipe the fuck down

Naturally, The 1975's fans rushed to defend the singer.

@Reverend_Makers don't get me wrong I like your music and I've seen you live twice but I would rather spend my pennies on a 1975 record

@Reverend_Makers I just think their lyrics are very good and the strongpoint of their music

But Healy knew what to do.

.@Reverend_Makers LIKE, OH THAT'S MATTY AND I CAN PUT HIS WIFE'S INITIALS ON MY TWITTER

.@Reverend_Makers BRO FIRST OF ALL YOU STOLE YOUR WHOLE SHIT FROM CUDI

.@Reverend_Makers SECOND, YOUR FIRST SINGLE WAS CORNY AS FUCK AND MOST THERE AFTER

Yep, he went full Kanye.

.@Reverend_Makers Work hard play hard

.@Reverend_Makers You have distracted from my creative process

.@Reverend_Makers I went to look at your Twitter and you were wearing cool pants #Irrelevantandthetapered(trousers)

Epic.

.@Reverend_Makers 3rd no one I know has ever listened to one of your albums all the way through

.@Reverend_Makers 7TH I AM YOUR OG AND I WILL BE RESPECTED AS SUCH

Unfortunately the Rev didn't seem to see the funny side of it all.
