kmichaels13783 commented on Tell Us About A TV Couple That Was Perfect Because Both People Were Awful

Gretchen and Jimmy from the brilliant "You're the Worst." it's the entire premise of the show. As played by the charismatic Aya Cash and Chris Geere, you rooted for these two horrible people to end up together because you wouldn't wish them on anyone else.

kmichaels13783 commented on Zoë Kravitz Just Shaded Hulu For Canceling "High Fidelity"

Zoe's response irritated me. We are all rooting for her career. I'm old enough to remember when she was born to two of the most beautiful people on the planet, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. But cancellations happen. When "Sense8" was cancelled, I was livid. It was a show with…

David's "butter-voiced beau," Patrick, from "Schitt's Creek." The guy is sweet, patient, sings like an angel and gorgeous.

kmichaels13783 commented on Jacob Elordi Was Really "Bothered" By Those Shirtless Scenes In "The Kissing Booth"

Elordi is definitely going through something. His interviews have been utterly devoid of joy. I thought it was because he to do press with his ex (he and Joey dated for a year). That would be tricky. Your first love is the hardest to get over. "The Kissing Booth" movies are…

kmichaels13783 commented on Which TV Moment Is So Clever, You Can't Believe Someone Thought Of It?

"Schitt's Creek" and the billboard. Brilliant touch. The first and last episodes of "The Good Wife." Both are both very similar with Alicia standing by her man. But the similarities also highlight the growth (or non-growth for Diane fans) of Alicia.

kmichaels13783 commented on Which Female Movie Character Were Audiences Too Hard On?

Any Katherine Heigl character. Even though she starred in a bunch of rom coms, nobody seems to like her characters. The consensus is she comes across as having a stick up her behind. Look again at "27 Dresses" in particular. Her prickliness time and time again helps keep viewers…

kmichaels13783 commented on What Are The Most Intense TV Moments Of All Time?

Connell talking to a therapist about his friend's suicide in "Normal People." It was the first time I've turned from the screen, so palpable is his grief. There are no words for how brilliant Paul Mescal is in this scene.

kmichaels13783 commented on Which TV Character Was So Bad, The Show Would've Been Better Off Without Them?

Roland Schitt on "Schitt's Creek." The show is as close to perfection as you can get, but Roland is so, so gross. On my multiple rewatches, I fast forward through all of his scenes.

kmichaels13783 commented on Which TV Characters Were Better Than Their Shows?

Luke Wilson as Stripesy in "Stargirl." The young cast needs to take acting lessons from the "Sex Education" kids. A stranded Wilson and some super cool special effects keep me watching, even as I keep wanting to slap the teenagers on the show. Where's Sarah Michelle Gellar when…

kmichaels13783 commented on What TV Series Is Amazing From Start To Finish?

"Schitt's Creek" is simply the best, but I always recommend newbies to start with the 2nd season. "Buffy" is also in my top 5, despite a problematic final season. The most perfect show from start to finish, aside from "Sex Education" which has two 5-star seasons under its belt,…
