How Well Do You Know Peggy Carter According To Hayley Atwell?

**Hayley Atwell:** She'd drink Iron Man under the table but she'd have more fun with Black Widow because they'd just be raging alcoholics and in a gutter somewhere having the best time ever. Peggy would definitely be drinking an Amaretto Sour and Natasha would be drinking absinthe.

**HA:** I think it's the dive bars. Girl's gotta get her whiskey. I think that's her outlet, so late at night after work, she'll sneak into some dive bar to listen to live music or maybe play a few games of pool with the boys. She'd have her Ameretto Sour and kick back and relax a little bit. She'd probably love the wit and the banter and punching a few guys out at the end of the night outside the bar.

**HA:** Gregory Peck. Absolute dreamboat. I think she'd love his Atticus Finch portrayal because I think she would see him as the ultimate moral, strong, quietly enigmatic, quietly charismatic, mysterious figure. She'd keep her cool, but I imagine the Peggy is very much like a duck on the water; on the surface very calm, but their legs are going crazy underneath the surface. They'd be having dinner across from each other and the top half of her would be incredibly poised and elegant but underneath she'd have kicked off her heels and be quietly tapping her feet.

**HA:** Oooo I think she'd be...I think she'd actually be sorted into Slytherin because that's another place where there's a lot of darkness and she has to spread her joy and her light. So strategically and in a very calculating way, she'd be placed in there to shake things up a bit and change things around.

**HA:** Yes, 100% I do actually. I think they've met up in the 21st century, there's a huge age difference obviously but I think it happened. Also sadly towards the end of Peggy's life, because she's very old, because she's got Alzheimer's and dementia she forgets. So she forgets that they had their dance, so every time Steve sees her they've got to dance again. She's reliving that first dance every time she sees him.

**HA:** I think she found him in a nappie. Which is a diaper. He has mummy issues, and I reckon that his mummy issues mean he's constantly searching for love in the wrong places, or lust in the wrong places. I think he has a secret fetish for being babied. [Ed's Note: Tumblr please draw this.]

**HA:** A bottle of scotch, some of those Chinese paper lanterns, maybe an old game like Twister, and some fake vomit and poo just so they can play pranks on each other.

**HA:** You know how they were slapping some meat at one point to make a sound effect? No words would need to be said, she'd just pick up the huge slab of meat and smack them across the face with it.

**HA:** Probably her heel. They can do some real damage, and she's always got them on so they're practical. She's been walking in them all day so she probably wants to take them off for a bit of a break anyway. Then she can turn them around and cock the patriarchy on the back of the head with her heel.

**HA:** I'd love to learn a deep dark secret about Peggy's past that makes us understand sort of how and why she is this extraordinary kind of 'super' human. I think it's to do with her childhood, her upbringing, her family, what she's witnessed. I think her drive was always there before she met Steve Rogers; I think Steve was a sort of catalyst for her. But I think it's something deeper in her nature, and I'd like to explore what that is. I think she's capable of far more than we've seen yet.
