Who's the "Blogger"?

This is the friend that posts OOTD (Outfit of the Day) and their latest shopping purchases on their account. They tend to have over 100 followers as well.

I can almost guarantee that everyone has the "Blogger" friend because if you have friends who work at Aritzia, Oak and Fort and other popular clothing stores, then you are bound to have this friend. The "Blogger" is the fashionable friend that posts daily OOTD (Outfit of the Day). They tend to hashtag all of their clothing pieces from the top to the socks that they are wearing. Their OOTD posts are usually taken at a unique coffee shop or on the streets. In addition, they also post images of their latest shopping purchases including makeup and skincare.

2. Facebook - The "Human PA System"

Who's the "Human PA System"?

This is the friend that constantly shares articles, memes, videos and images everyday.

It used to be all about "pokes" and "likes" on Facebook. But now, everyone seems to slowly move away from this platform and the only users left are the ones that love to share posts, videos, pictures and articles.

Whenever I scroll down my news feed, I can always depend on the "Human PA System" to be keeping me up to date with the latest world news from the Trump Inauguration to the restaurants that are participating in Vancouver Dine Out 2017. The best part about the "Human PA System" is that not only do they enjoy posting but they love to respond back to any comments about their posts as well. Hence, they keep my news feed way more interesting compared to the usual "happy birthday" posts.

3. Pinterest - The "Craft Addict"

Who's the "Craft Addict"?

This is the friend that loves to create vision boards on her account with different DIY ideas. Sometimes, they are referred to the "King or Queen of DIY".

The "Craft Addict" spends hours on Pinterest pinning everything that they can possibly find. They are constantly on the hunt for the next DIY inspirations through other's images. Eventually, they create a vision board for all their crazy ideas. If you have a friend that pins anything from cats to her future wedding ideas on Pinterest, then you have a "Craft Addict".

Who's the "Snaper"?

This is the friend that snaps every second of their life and posts them on their story. They tend to be the life of the party.

Snapchat has become one of the fastest growing social media platforms for many youths, teenagers, and even adults. Most users would occasionally snap short 5-10 seconds videos to their friends to show a glimpse of their life. However, the "Snaper" is the friend that snaps every second of his life from waking up in the morning to his or her late night partying at clubs. To add to this list, the "Snaper" would even take pictures of his or her food and drinks. For example, the "Snaper" would randomly take a picture of a bagel and post it on their Snapchat story. Some people would argue that their snaps are pointless. However, the "Snaper" is the main driver of this social media application. Without them, this application would not be as amusing and entertaining for users. Besides that, you can always depend on the "Snaper" to be the first person to comment on your stories.

5. Twitter - The "Activist"

Who's the "Activist"?

This is the friend that is extremely outspoken and isn't shy to express their opinion online.

From tweeting about their view on the United States presidency to their horrible restaurant experiences, the "Activist" is not afraid of speaking up their mind. They will write long tweets about their experience with a bad restaurant and tag them in the post in order to reach out to the corporation. In addition, the "Activist" will make sure that everyone hears about their experiences by hashtagging and sharing their tweets to other social media platforms.

The "Activist" has quite a large amount of followers who shares the same interest as them. It's not surprising if the "Activist" and their followers organizes a local protest against different controversial issues in the community. They were probably seen as the latest Women's March in Vancouver.
