I was trying to forget the single hoop earring. But as a… *NSYNC’R (????) we can never forget. Also, taking submissions for the name of this fandom. *NSYNC’R is crap.
I read this post and the whole time I was in awe of the amazing work that went into these scenes through CG. If the subliminal message of this was to showcase what artistry goes into movies (all of them, these days) and the acting skills the cast had, then bravo, you’ve gotten that message across. For this movie, CG was the best choice. Just like you have to imagine the future or things that are unknown (for instance, Avatar, or let’s throw it back to the animated Fern Gully), to recreate something as majestical as the 1920’s setting would require a vivid re-imagining as well.
