"Where do you think you’re going? Nobody’s leaving. Nobody’s walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We’re all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We’re gonna press on, and we’re gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he’s gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse

    Christmas Vacation…… my favorite."

    22. White Christmas (1954) – the "Love You Didn’t Do Right By Me" song

    Paramount Pictures

"Every year, I watch White Christmas with my mum. I know every song by heart, but one always stands above the rest: "Love You Didn’t Do Right By Me", sung by Rosemarie Clooney. There’s no specific lyric or quote that makes it special (the song title in itself says volumes), but I think everyone can relate to being heartbroken at one point or another on the holidays. But the one solace I can always take from this scene is that she kills this song and in the most gorgeous dress. She’s the queen of the heart broken holidays and she makes it look good."

    23. Scrooged (1988)

    Paramount Pictures

It's Christmas Eve! It's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more.

"This always gets me. Not only is the story wonderfully adapted from a classic, but Bill Murray is fantastic as always. No matter how stressed and sad I am about life and people in general throughout the year, this line reminds me to be kind and gentle to others and to myself."

    24. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

    United Feature Syndicate / funnyjunk.com

"All of A Charlie Brown Christmas but especially the opening bit with Charlie & Linus (from memory too, I have pretty much the whole thing memorized).

Charlie Brown: I think there must be something wrong with me Linus. Christmas is coming but I’m not happy. I don’t feel the way I’m supposed to feel. I just don’t understand Christmas I guess. I like getting presents and sending Christmas cards & decorating trees & all that but I still don’t feel happy. I always end up feeling depressed.

Linus: Charlie Brown, you’re the only person I know who could take a wonderful season like Christmas & turn it into a problem. Maybe Lucy’s right, of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you’re the Charlie Browniest."
