Justin Bieber Hit A Paparazzo With His Car As He Left Church

In footage obtained by TMZ, the singer can be seen attending to the man afterwards. He has not been charged.

Justin Bieber was involved in a car accident involving a paparazzo as he attempted to leave a church event in Los Angeles.

The singer had been at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills for an event. As he tried to drive away afterwards, a number of photographers surrounded his vehicle. A video obtained by TMZ shows his car coming into contact with one man, who then fell to the ground.

When Bieber was alerted to what had happened, he got out of his car and can be seen attending to the man until medics and the police arrive.

In the footage, Bieber is seen bending down speaking to the man who is holding his injured leg. The paparazzo is later stretchered away into an ambulance but suffered "non life threatening injuries to his lower body", according to TMZ. The website reports Bieber spoke to police before leaving the scene and he was not cited over the incident.

Earlier this week the singer cancelled the last 14 dates of his world tour. His manager, Scooter Braun, wrote on Instagram: "A man’s soul and well-being I truly care about came first, and we must all respect and honour that."

A representative for Bieber has been contacted by BuzzFeed News for comment.
