1.Build a credible reputation in the community
Being known as a legit reseller and having that reputation opens a lot of doors. If your customers are 100% sure they’re getting the real thing, they’ll be more willing to buy from you and continue doing business with you. The fake market is rampant and as a result, scamming is an issue in the community. Being legit and known for it are important in any online business.
2. Understand the culture and market before you jump in
I look at shoes as an investment and I don’t know many people who invest into stocks without doing their research or getting some sort of consultation. Make sure you understand the swings of the market and when to sell or when to buy up pairs is important.
3. Make sure you have a marketplace to sell your inventory
Even if you are lucky enough to get a limited shoe for retail, you’ll need a platform to sell them. Not everyone needs to have their own page, there’s other options like consignment shops, apps like Goat and even eBay.
