I feel like the pictures in the article do a disservice to the message. Without context, are these all during the time of the drug usage? Because if so, they all look fantastic, and distract from the intent of the message.

No the literal article said Disney asked for 50/50 profits, with 100% creative control. Which, IMO, based on trends and profits, Sony is stupid to walk away from.
