Seeing-Eye Dog Fails Final Exam, Something Incredible Happens

    Tissues required.

Meet Pesto. He's a super cute black lab who was basically raised in a library.

His mom, a librarian, raises puppies to be trained as guide dogs for the blind. Puppy Pesto came every day with her to work.

You know who else came to the library everyday? A single mom and her two boys, Javary and Javae'.

Both boys were being homeschooled because they have disabilities. Javae's autism was so severe, he couldn't even speak to his mom.

Javary was told by doctor's he would never walk.

It was love at first sight when the boys met Pesto.

After bonding for a year, the boys said goodbye to Pesto, who left to become a trained guide dog for the blind.

All the family hoped for was that Pesto be placed with a phenomenal human being who loved him as much as they did.

On the last day of training, the family got a call.

They were sure it was news of Pesto's placement, since he had passed all his tests with flying colors.

But instead, they learned Pesto had failed his final exam.

With no where else to go, Pesto went home with the boys and their mom.

And then, incredible things started to happen. Javae was talking to Pesto.

And with Pesto by his side, Javary found the strength to walk.

This made their mom cry. A lot.

Maybe, just maybe, Pesto had discovered failure could bring him closer to his forever family.

Because the best outcomes don't always end with everything going as planned. Sometimes the best thing to do is just follow your heart.
