This Frog Is At Least 34 Million Years Old And Still Has A Face

The fossil was discovered 140 years ago, but now scientists have worked out its real age.

This is a fossil of a frog that lived between 34 and 40 million years ago. Remarkably, you can still clearly see its features.

Scientists CT scanned the fossil frog to see inside it. They found a skeleton "almost identical" to another frog that had previously been dated to 34–40 million years old, confirming the age of the fossil.
