We recently asked the BuzzFeed Community which TV show couples stayed together way too long. Here are some relationships they think should have ended much earlier:

1. Archie and Veronica from Riverdale:

Every single one of her actions has been centered on Hope finding Landon, Hope protecting Landon, and so on, and I miss when Hope just got to be Hope, an independent character that wasn’t so reliant on her love interest. Honestly, I think it’s time to move past this couple just for the sake of getting the Hope we know and love back.”

I never understood why they got back together. I know Duncan was supposed to be her perfect first love, but Veronica and Logan had way more chemistry and were so much more interesting to watch. I was glad when Duncan left the show for good.

16. Carrie and Big from Sex and the City:

"They got together, then broke up, got back together, broke up again, and then got married. The relationship was exhausting, unrealistic, and way too much damn drama."

18. Miles and Tristan from Degrassi: Next Class:

The relationship was so incredibly forced and clearly outran its course, but the show insisted on keeping them together for some reason, even making them go to 'prom' together after they finally broke up. They never had a real conversation or genuine connection and it felt like they only stayed together because of the bus crash.

19. Matt and Gabby from Chicago Fire:

"They were absolutely toxic for each other. They were together for like six years, but they never once talked to each other about their feelings. It just got boring. When Gabby eventually left, it was more of a relief than anything."

Ginny clearly didn't really like Hunter and was pining after Marcus the whole time. They had no chemistry, Hunter never stood up for her, and Ginny cheated on him. They should have broken up much sooner.

"They weren't good for each other. I really think Rachel and Joey were a better fit."
