"Glee" Was Full Of Ridiculous Plots, But These 17 Moments Especially Tick Fans Off

"Rachel getting into the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts and Kurt getting rejected was infuriating. Character development happens when the character has to overcome an obstacle to achieve a goal, but the writers just did it for her."

We recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us what Glee storylines still infuriate them. Here's what they had to say!

1. First, when Quinn got into a serious car accident and began using a wheelchair, but then she was able to walk again after just a few episodes.

2. When Marley literally passed out on stage during Sectionals, and everyone was more concerned about being disqualified from the competition.

"The whole plot was ridiculous. She was suffering from an eating disorder — one that was primarily brought on by another member of the New Directions — and no one seemed to care beyond how it affected their competition."

3. When Rachel was allowed to "re-do" her audition for the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA) and then was accepted, while Kurt was just rejected.

"I remember watching when her audition went horribly and she didn't get the spot, and thinking, 'Wow, that's great for her character arc and development because now she's gonna have to find something else to pursue.' But then, they ruined it by having Rachel and everyone else chase and practically harass the evaluator into giving her a second chance. It was embarrassing at best and infuriating at worst."

4. When Blaine bizzarely hallucinated everyone as singing puppets.

5. When Sue trapped Blaine and Kurt in an elevator to force them to reconcile their relationship.

"She even taunted them with a Saw-esque puppet in order to make them get back together. Sue wasn't that close to either of them, so why was she invested in their relationship? And since when did McKinley have an elevator?!"

6. When Becky brought a gun to school for a "very special episode," and the entire plot was handled extremely poorly.

"It was so random and insensitive and just felt like it was for shock factor. The fact that it aired only four months after the Sandy Hook shooting makes this episode all the more thoughtless and infuriating."

7. When Mr. Schuester suspended Marley for not wanting to wear a bikini costume.

"He knew Marley suffered from an eating disorder. Will was a walking red flag."

8. When Rachel quit her dream Broadway role so she could run away to LA and star in an awful TV pilot about her life.

9. When they casually put on a school production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show starring underage teenagers.

"Like, did they forget this was set in a high school?! I love Rocky Horror, but the whole thing was sooooo uncomfortable to watch. Honestly, a lot of the things Mr. Schuester did were VERY questionable looking back."

10. When Blaine dated Karofsky, Kurt's former bully.

11. When it was revealed that Brody was a sex worker, and Finn and Santana faked a client appointment to confront him.

12. When Blaine questioned his sexuality after drunkenly kissing Rachel, and Kurt completely dismissed him and said bisexuality didn't exist.

"Kurt even said, 'Bisexual is a term that gay guys in high school use when they want to hold hands with girls and feel like a normal person for a change.' Umm, no, it’s not! They also majorly downplayed Brittany’s bisexuality and had Santana imply that all bisexuals are cheaters, which is an untrue stereotype."

13. When the writers ruined Tina and Mike's relationship and had her randomly develop a crush on Blaine.

"Tina and Mike were probably the healthiest couple on that show (most of the time), so the writers just had to break them up and make Tina desperate for attention and crush on Blaine. All because stability is overrated, I guess."

14. When Artie was able to walk with "special crutches" for just one episode.

"Kurt made it clear that he didn’t want to be with Blaine after he cheated. They went from 0-100 without much time to reconcile. I love Glee, and the plot lines were all ridiculous, but this one annoyed me the most."
