As the description states, "Dead doesn't mean gone. An au pair plunges into an abyss of chilling secrets in this gothic romance from the creator of The Haunting of Hill House." Sign me the HECK up!!!

Here are 31 thoughts I had while watching the first episode:

    Nickelodeon

    🚨Obviously, spoilers ahead!🚨

    1. Is it just me or do none of these wedding guests look happy to be here? Even the bride and groom look like they secretly can't stand each other.

    2. My ADHD brain could not handle listening to THIS long of a story. I feel for these wedding guests.

    Netflix

    3. This job interview is giving me secondhand anxiety. Listen, do you want an au pair or not?

    4. Well, that's, uh, one way to explain what happened to the last au pair.

    Well, I-I suppose she died
    Netflix

    5. Children singing in horror shows and movies always strikes me as SO creepy.

    6. Take a shot every time Flora says, "How perfectly splendid!"

    7. This layout strongly reminds me of Blathers' museum in Animal Crossing.

    8. What child talks like this?!

If you fall, you can injure yourself, and the stairs are not forgiving.
    Netflix

    9. Flora really just said "and this is where our dead parents used to sleep" like it's nothing.

    10. I take it back. Don't take a shot every time Flora says this — I don't want to be responsible for anyone going to the hospital.

    it's all just perfectly splendid
    Netflix

    11. Miles is starting to creep me out a little.

    12. Speaking of creepy, what the HECK is Flora staring at in the bathroom?

    13. I do NOT appreciate the creepy dollhouse in Flora's room. It's giving me Pretty Little Liars flashbacks.

    14. Oh my GOD, how did I just now realize Dani is Love from You?! Please look away, I am dumb.

    15. You know what? I'm with Flora on this one. It seems like a very bad idea for Dani to explore the creepy house alone at night. But will Dani listen? Noooo, of course not.

    16. Famous last words, Dani. Famous last words.
