1. Brtiney Spears on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch (1999)

Only in 1999 would this happen. Britney played herself in an episode of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. Shortly after, Melissa Joan Hart made a cameo in her video for "(You Drive Me) Crazy," which was also featured on the soundtrack of Melissa's 1999 rom-com Drive Me Crazy.

2. Destiny's Child on Smart Guy (1998)

Beyoncè, Kelly, and original Destiny's Child members LaTavia Roberson and

LeToya Luckett played themselves in an episode on The WB sitcom. They sang "Amazing Grace" a capella at a school dance and made a video for "No No No" (Part 1)."

3. Christina Aguilera on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1999)

During her cameo, Christina belted the hits “Genie In A Bottle” and “I Turn To You” while the crowd got their groove on at the Peach Pit After Dark. She was performing for character David Silver's birthday.

4. Rihanna on Las Vegas (2005)

The now-cancelled NBC series featured RiRi singing her debut single "Pon de Replay." She's really only there to sing that song, do some dancing, and dip.

5. Celine Dion on Touched By An Angel (1998)

Celine meets a boy suffering from cystic fibrosis through Monica, the show's protagonist. One of his dying wishes is for his friend to see her perform. They get to meet the singer and watch her belt "Love Can Move Mountains."

6. NSYNC on Sesame Street (2000)

The one-time boy band made an appearance on the PBS show to sing a popular, Sesame Street original song called, "Believe in Yourself." The encouraging song left Big Bird, Telly, Rosita, and Elmo excited and cheerful.

7. LeAnn Rimes on Moesha (1999)

The country singer made an appearance as herself when one of Moesha's friends, Kim, won the chance to meet her on MTV's Fanatic. She sang "The Heart Never Forgets," a song from her latest album at the time, Sittin' On Top Of The World, and Kim joined her for a verse.

8. Lady Gaga on Gossip Girl (2009)

In this episode of Gossip Girl, Blair puts on a modern day production of "Snow White" featuring Lady Gaga's music. She impresses her classmates by bringing Gaga herself on stage to perform "Bad Romance."

9. Tina Turner on Ally McBeal (2000)

Tina sang "When The Heartache Is Over" and an older hit, "A Fool In Love," in her cameo on the show. Ally won a contest and got to go on stage, sing back up, and dance alongside the icon.

Gwen Stefani and the other members of No Doubt made a cameo on the hit teen drama Dawson's Creek. The group performed "Hella Good," "Underneath It All," and "Magic's In The Makeup" while the gang, in one way or another, made their way to the concert.

A 16-year-old Chris sang his second single "Yo" on the UPN sitcom. As soon as he finished his set, he flirted with Kyla Pratt's character, Breanna, and gave her his number.

Carrie made a cameo on this procedural police drama on CBS. She sang the standard "It Had To Be You" with the legend himself, Tony Bennet.

13. Snoop Dogg on Weeds (2006)

This isn't surprising, obviously, but Snoop wrote a song about the main character's new strain of weed and performed it on the show. It's called "MILF Weed," after the new strain Nancy and Conrad start selling.

14. Lorretta Lynn on Roseanne (1993)

Loretta gave Roseanne relationship advice after the show in a scripted scene. Then the two sang Loretta's hit, "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)."

15. Justin Bieber on True Jackson, VP (2009)

Justin made an appearance on the Nickelodeon show as himself while helping the title character, True Jackson, with a fundraiser. He sang his first single, “One Time” complete with the original Bieber cut.

16. The Beach Boys on Full House (1988)

The Beach Boys were an easy get for this season two episode, since John Stamos (aka Uncle Jesse) has played numerous instruments for the band. They sang their hits "Kokomo" and "Barbara Ann."
