If you don't know anything about the Fallout series, here is a little crash course. / Via

Fallout is a retrofuturistic, post apocalyptic (or post-nuclear), role-playing game created by Interplay Entertainment that takes place during the 22nd and 23rd centuries. It is considered to be the spiritual successor of a game called Wasteland released in 1987 for the Apple II, and in 1988 on the Commodore 64 and DOS. Fallout's settings are influenced by the post-war culture in the 1950s.

So far, the series has has six games: Fallout, released in 1997, set in Southern California in the year 2161; Fallout 2, released in 1998, set in the year 2241; Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, released in 2001; Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, released in 2004, and the first Fallout game released on consoles; Fallout 3, released in 2008, set in Washington, D.C. in the year 2271; and Fallout: New Vegas, released in 2010, set in Las Vegas in the year 2275.

With the exception of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, the games have been met with critical acclaim and have been successful commercially.

In each game, you play as a different character tasked with different missions, making each game's experience unique and exciting.

And now, five years after the release of Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4 is arriving on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows (sorry Mac users!). The game is set in Boston.
