There wasn't exactly anarchy on the streets, not on a scale the Godfather of Punk might once have commanded.
You couldn't even call it mayhem, unless you count the traffic nightmare that a horse-drawn carriage leading a funeral procession through congested Camden Town inevitably creates.
But when they said farewell to Sex Pistols creator Malcolm McLaren yesterday, at least they did it with a snarl. And with a few V-signs. And a lot of singing and dancing.
