    1. A set of flexible silicone ice cube trays that won't break when you try to pop the ice out. And they'll make tiny sticks of ice that actually fit in your water bottle, especially the ones with narrow mouths.

    Kaysey Davis/BuzzFeed

I love my bkr water bottle, but the mouth was so narrow I couldn't put ice in it. And during a heat wave, it was becoming a major problem for me. I bought the trays hoping the ice cubes would be thin enough to fit into the bottle. They did! The moulds are tiny, so they don't take a long time to freeze, and the silicone material makes them so easy to pop out. I discovered that filling the trays about three quarters full is the perfect size for my bkr water bottle, and I only needed about three or four to cool down my water.

Get a set of three from Amazon Canada for $15.64.

    2. A humidifier that'll work quietly to fill the air around you with moisture. It can hold up to 500 millilitres of water and is powered with a USB, so you can connect it to your computer or a power bank charger.

    3. A hair-removing glove that'll remove all the dirt and stray hairs from your pet's coat and give them a relaxing massage, too. The little bristles will catch loose hairs before they end up on your carpet, furniture, or clothes.

Or, hey, if the hair's already escaped from your pet to every nook and cranny in your household — this glove'll help you run your hands all over the house to remove it. It also has an adjustable strap so it'll conform to your hand and wrist size.

"My dog is perfect in every way but he has recently started to shed and I am finding that all my clothes are covered in his fur. I saw this pet grooming glove all over the internet, so I figured I’d give it a try. And boy oh good boy, it genuinely works. The glove is super comfortable and using it couldn’t be more foolproof: just put it on and run your hands through your pet’s fur. That’s it! The silicone grooves pick up so much fur with ease. Like, my dog looks close to hairless. HOW is he shedding so much!?!? After a few runs, I found that I would have to remove fur from the glove before continuing (you can pick up the fur with your other hand or run the glove under some water — either works) but it’s no biggie. The silicone actually makes it really easy to keep this clean. Also, his coat looks SO shiny after each use! TL;DR: this is one of those inexpensive add-ons that any pet owner should have on hand." —AnaMaria Glavan

    Victoria Kuglin/BuzzFeed

"Each little detail is thoughtfully designed, from the large finger loop to the slightly curved tip — even the material itself is designed to keep your grabbers clean and free of microbes and bacteria. I was also really surprised by how ergonomic it is!

I was able to open even the heaviest doors with relative ease, and thanks to the touchscreen tips, I could flip between paying for groceries and answering texts in seconds. What about push doors, you may ask? NOT AN ISSUE! I just attached the silicone tips to the end and used them to gently prod doors open — no slip, no scratches. Push, pull, tap, grab — this lil' guy does it all, and keeps your hands germ free in the process." —Victoria Kuglin

    Amazon / Via amazon.ca, Sarah Aspler/BuzzFeed

"Let’s be honest, this was a complete impulse buy. Because generally, when it comes to kitchen gadgets, I’m always a little skeptical. The plastic blade dug right in and it was really easy to cut all around the avocado. REMOVING THE PIT: So easy and honestly wish I could do this for hours. 12. A set of spacious vacuum bags that'll help you store all your clothes and linens on the off season. The set comes with a travel pump to suck out the air, but it's also compatible with all vacuum cleaners. Now you don't have to worry about where to store your coats and blankets during the warmer months.

    BuzzFeed / Via buzzfeed.com, Maitland Quitmeyer/BuzzFeed

"I chose the large size (as opposed to the biggest size, called "jumbo") because it seemed easier to move and store — jumbo is probably perfect for bedding, duvets, etc! And just one large bag was plenty to store nine or ten *very* large winter sweaters — all collapsed down to a fraction of their size. And it was surprisingly effortless, too!

I didn't feel like breaking out the vacuum, so I just used the included hand pump, and it took maybe three minutes max to pump out the air and shrink the bag before replacing the cap — easy peasy! And no danger of re-inflation. I am literally going to order another pack of five today — my closet game is forever changed!!! All I can say is thank you Maitland, for actually taking your own advice for once." —Maitland Quitmeyer

    Amazon / Via amazon.ca, Kaysey Davis/BuzzFeed

These were a lifesaver for my mom. She has a very thick mattress AND a mattress topper on her bed. She uses fitted sheets with extra-deep pockets, but the corners still slide off all the time, and it was beyond annoying to have to fix the sheets every time she got into bed.

Then we got these clips to see if they'd make a difference, and they did! They're very easy to install: Just attach the metal clips to the four corners of the fitted sheet and slide them around the bottom of your mattress when you put the sheet on. The stretchy elastic straps are also adjustable to create the perfect amount of tension. And when it's time to wash your sheets, you can just unclip them. My mom hasn't had to adjust the sheets since, so I'm calling it a win.

    22. A small and savvy knife sharpener that'll restore your knives to their former glory. It'll protect your knives and countertop from unnecessary damage. It's designed with two slots: one that sharpens dull knives and another to polishes them to perfection.

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

"After living with several roommates over the course of 7 years (wow, how the time goes!), I accumulated an odd collection of knives that neither matched nor cut very well. Cue this little knife sharpener. It totally ~transformed~ my hodgepodge of a knife collection, and probably saved my clumsy self from lots of close calls with dull knives. A DECENT set of knives would be a sound investment for a 30-year-old, I know. But this little sharpener is making my hand-me-downs way more useful. And it’s so easy to use in comparison to the menacing sharpening rods that you see villains in cartoons using when they’re thinking about eating the Roadrunner or a cute protagonist." —Elizabeth Lilly
