These are a few of my favourite things.
Dresses are an absolute staple in my wardrobe and I recently added this one to the mix. The olive shade and half length sleeves make it perfect for that awkward transitional weather. It's also incredibly soft. I'll definitely be wearing this on repeat in spring AND fall.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $64.90. Available in sizes XXS—5X and five colours.
When it comes to sleeping, my motto is 'night's out, lights out.' All of them. My reaction to even the faintest of lights is very similar to a vampire being exposed to the sun: not cute. But I have a bunch of devices in my room that blink and glow during the night! My fan, my air purifier, my computer screen, and my air conditioning unit are just a few that I can list off the top of my head. Buying these light-dimming stickers was the best money I've spent in a while. I just popped them onto my devices and the lights were instantly duller. They come in a variety of different shapes and sizes, making it easy to find the perfect one for each device. I can still see that the lights are on, but they're not nearly as annoying.

I love the shape of this little gadget. It fits perfectly in my hand and has grooved sides that make it easy to hold for a longer period of time. The design is also really clever. There's the red part that covers and protects the actual file and then there's the white handle part that collects all the dead skin, making it super easy to clean up (all I have to do is separate the pieces over a garbage can). Plus, on the bottom of the red cover there's another file that'll help smooth out any leftover rough edges. It also comes with a nail clipper and mini nail file, so I have everything I need to give myself a mini pedicure.
Get it from Shoppers Drug Mart for $16.14 (originally $18.99).
I kept seeing plant influencers using them and now I understand why. They're so big and super sturdy, making them perfect for a large leafy plant like my monstera. And I love that they're extendable so I won't have to worry about finding a new support any time soon. I actually like using these Velcro garden ties more than the string and twist ties they came with. They're so easy to take off and reposition.

The regular spatula is great for medium to large sized bottles like lotion, shampoo, or conditioner, and the mini spatula is perfect for makeup bottles. I figure after using these spatulas for a few months, I've probably saved more than a few loonies and toonies on makeup and skincare. Plus, it's super satisfying to see how much product comes out. I knew there was more in there!

I'm a huge fan of lipstick, but lately I've been skipping a bold lip in favour of a hydrating lip balm or gloss. This lip balm has been my go-to because it not only moisturizes my lips, but leaves a slightly glossy finish and subtle stain on my lips. Don't get me wrong, I have to reapply throughout the day, just like a regular lip balm. I just love how easy it is to create the perfect shade of pink for my lips — just swipe and go. It looks natural and makes me feel less like a corpse on the days I don't want to wear a full face of makeup.

Our household is definitely #TeamAndroid. I have a Pixel 3 and, and while I love it very much, I still miss my iPhone days. And it's solely because there are WAY cuter cases for Apple devices. For years, I've been using the same transparent case, but ya girl wanted options. I was over the moon when I found out Society6 does custom cases for literally every and any Android phone and there are dozens of prints to choose from. This case not only protects my phone, but it looks amazing, too. I love how easy it is to install, so I don't need to jaws of life to get it off when I'm ready to swap it out with something new.
Get it from Society6 for $25.60+ (originally $32). Available for LG, Samsung, and Google phones and in two styles.
I have very thick hair to begin with but I normally wear it in long braids that hold onto water like no one's business. I don't use heat styling tools, so after washing my hair, it can take a whole day for them to air dry — and sometimes I'll even wake up with damp hair. These scrunchies are absolute game changers. I just snatch my hair into a ponytail, bun, or a pair of space buns (if I'm feeling cute), and wait for the magic to happen. After a couple hours, my hair is basically dry. And as you can see from the GIF, the scrunchie absorbed most of the moisture.

I just loved the minimalist design of these trellises. The most petite one (in the pic) is the perfect size for one of my smallest plants that was starting to get a little long.
Get a set of three from Indigo for $19.50.
It's a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. When I knocked over a plant, it picked up every last speck of dirt on my table and floor. It even has a brush on the bottom that'll pick up loose hair, too. I usually keep it on my desk because it looks super cute there and it helps me clean up small messes as soon as they happen.

I can't tell you the last time I've bought single-use food bags since we started using these. They're the only food bags I carry in my bag, because they're actually leakproof. They're super easy to wash and they can hold just about anything. We use them mostly for snacks or leftovers, but I've also started using them when I travel to hold my toiletries (y'know in case my bottle of conditioner bursts open or something).

We had a regular Brita pitcher but recently upgraded to this dispenser and it was totally worth it. Instead of having to refill it a couple time a day, I only have to refill it every other day. Plus, it has such a large basin at the top that I don't have to wait for what feels like hours to fill it up. I also like that it's so narrow. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the fridge. I'd say it actually uses less space than the pitcher.

I love face masks, but applying them with my fingers can get a little messy. These applicators have made it dramatically easier and faster to shellac my face with my favourite clay mask, so I can actually sit back and relax instead of cleaning up my hands. The silicone tip also makes it easy to spread my masks on my face, so I'm not using as much product. It's basically a spatula for your face. They're great for my gel face masks, which tend to be a little more liquid and harder to apply. I also like using them when I'm using multiple masks. I have more control over where the product goes and they're super easy to clean afterward.

I use this all the time to wash my favourite sweaters and other delicate garments I don't like putting in the washing machine. I also like using it to quickly clean a bra or pair of underwear. I just add a capful of soap to a basin of water and let the garments soak for 15 minutes. And I've even started using it to wash my cloth face masks at the end of the day. I love how light the scent is. I have it in fig, but it also comes in unscented, if you're not into fragrances. Plus, it's a no-rinse formula, so I'm using less water.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $20. Available in six scents.
Now that hand sanitizer is something I never leave the house without, I wanted to stock up on a few travel-sized bottles. I really liked this one because it solved some of the issues I had with using other hand sanitizers. First, it's a fine mist, so it doesn't make my hands super wet before drying down. It also has a light lavender scent, which is downright heavenly compared to the strong chemical smells from other hand sanitizers. My hands don't feel Sahara Desert dry after using it and it comes in this really sleek bottle that's small enough to fit in my pocket. It's a perfect ten out of ten.
Get it from Indigo for $12. Available in four scents.
The lint remover comes with a power cord, an extra blade, a storage bag, and a cleaning brush.
I got this because my favourite sweaters were starting to look kind of grungy. I tried using lint rollers, but they weren't picking up enough of the pills on my knits, and it was so time consuming. This electric shaver got rid of ALL the annoying pills and my sweaters look good as new. It's super gentle on clothes and it took way less time to get rid of the pills.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $16.99.
I don't know where this has been all my life, but I plan on never living without it again. I have really dry skin that gets even worse during the winter months (sound familiar?). I love using this cleansing oil because it actually adds moisture back into my skin instead of stripping it away. My skin feels instantly soothed after using it and it has a light citrusy scent that smells so good. And after I get out of the shower I just use my regular body butter to lock in all that hydration. Dry skin? We don't know it.

These gloves are honestly so much fun to use. Sometimes I go looking for things to dust. I can quickly wipe down large surfaces like counters, cupboards or tables or use them on smaller or more fragile items like the picture frames or perfume bottles without worrying about breaking them. I usually keep one near my desk to wipe down my computer screen and desk because it gets pretty dusty in my room. I love that I can just toss them in the wash when they start to look a little grungy.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $18.99+. Available in two colours and two sizes.
As someone who uses sheet masks on the regular, these silicone masks were a great way to cut down on a lot of waste. My favourite thing about the face mask is that it has ear loops to keep it from sliding down my face, which was a problem with the single-use ones I normally use. Don't get me wrong, I still like using regular sheet masks on occasion, but now I wear this one over top to keep them from moving around. The eye masks are absolutely gigantic and cover my entire undereye area and my cheeks. And both are so easy to clean — just wash them with soap and water and lay them out to dry. They're a bit of an investment, but they'll definitely pay off in the long run.
Get them from Simons for $36.
I live with two small children and, as a result, I'm constantly cleaning up after them. These magic erasers are a true blessing. Instead of scrubbing away stains with a bucket and cloth like Cinderella, I can quickly and effectively remove whatever mysterious marks and stains I find on tables, walls, and other surfaces in seconds. Like this beautiful crayon mural, for instance. It took less than a minute to clean up, and all it took was a little water and elbow grease.

I don't get pimples often, but when I do they look about the size of a dwarf planet on my face. Not cute. I heard the hype over acne patches and decided to try them for myself. My first impression? It has to be witchcraft. I popped one of these bad boys on my latest zit one night and it was significantly smaller the next morning. Like, I could cover it up with a little concealer and no one would know I was dealing with a mini breakout. I'm officially obsessed and I will be repurchasing these until the end of time.

I keep one on my keychain, so I always have it near me. I love using it when I’m unpacking groceries and need to cut through the thick plastic packaging. It’s also easier and much more satisfying to open boxes that are covered in packing tape. The ceramic blade is smooth, making it impossible to cut yourself with it, but it can easily cut through paper, plastic, and cardboard. I feel much more comfortable carrying it around than a pair of scissors, and it's only a third of the size.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $10.39.
I don't always remember to apply sunscreen in the morning, so I like having skincare products that already have SPF mixed in. This moisturizer has become my holy grail, especially on days when I'm not wearing any makeup. It's super hydrating and gives my skin a great glow. I also love that the packaging is refillable. Whenever I finish it, I just pop out the center bottle and replace it.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $29+. Available in two sizes.
I have a pretty big collection of ice cube trays, but this one is easily my favourite one now. I love the silicone lid! I seals in the water, making it impossible to spill water. And it's super easy to pop the ice out.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $20.99.
I was drawn to the pockets and the striped print, but I love how lightweight this dress is. It literally feels like second skin and has a bit of stretch to it, so it's not too constricting. I'll definitely be wearing this all summer long.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $29.99+. Available in sizes S—3X and in 35 colours/prints.
I've been using this product for years and I will repurchase it forever, because it's that good. Instead of buying a more expensive moisturizer that has only has a dollop of hyaluronic acid in it, I just slather this stuff on my face before I go in with my face cream to really help my skin draw in as much moisture as possible. And it's so affordable, I feel like I don't have to ration it like I would with a more expensive serum.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $8.20+. Available in two sizes.
I've got a little collection of these babies, because they're just so useful. I used to go through packs of cotton rounds every month before I discovered these. They're way bigger than the itty bitty single-use ones I normally use. They're made of the same fabric as a regular face cloth but have little pockets on the back that you can slide your fingers into, so you have a little more control when you're wiping makeup off your face. They're perfect for removing my eye makeup and face masks, because they're so gentle. I also use them when I'm applying micellar water and toner, too. The best part is that I can just toss them into the wash with the rest of my laundry. We love a sustainable beauty product.

I have a collection of velvet hangers, and while I love them, I found that my strappy dresses and tops were still sliding off the sides. Enter these genius notched hangers. I use them to hang everything from sleeveless dresses and tops to overalls and jumpsuits. They're great. I got them in black so they match with my other hangers.

I like to travel light and this little bag is my go-to when I'm out running errands. I was thinking about getting a belt bag, but this one fits my style a bit better. I just love how functional it is. I can store my phone (and a tube of lip gloss) in the front pouch and keep my cards in the slots on the back. Whenever I get the chance to travel, I will definitely be bringing this with me.
Get it from Indigo for $56.
The thing I love most about this lipstick (besides it's staying power) is the wide range of shades. I tend to gravitate toward deeper purples, reds, and even blues and it's nice to find such a great variety of colours to choose from. I also really like the pointy applicator. It gives me better precision, so I don't have to spend so much time cleaning up my pout.
Get it from Shoppers Drug Mart for $13.49. Available in 26 shades.
I'm an amateur plant mom, and I have to say dealing with insects is my least favourite part. Thankfully, I've only had to deal with fruit flies and these sticky stakes have caught most of them within a couple days of using them. They're super easy to set up and you can attach multiple stakes together to make them extra tall, if you have a larger plant. I will definitely be restocking these, because they're actual life savers.

To be honest, I never used to steam or iron my clothes before I got this little gadget. I just kind of embraced my slightly wrinkled clothing, because I was way too lazy to break out my ancient iron from the linen closet every other day. This steamer, on the other hand, has changed the game. What I love most about it is that it heats up in less than a minute (because I don't have all day) and it has a shut off feature that'll stop it from steaming before I place it on a the floor (meaning I actually use less water). I can steam three or four clothing items before I have to fill it back up again. What can I say, I'm a changed woman.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $130.
The mount is wide enough to clip onto my headboard, and I can use it on different pieces of furniture in my house, like my desk or shelf. Plus, the holder stretches open really wide, so it'll fit any phone. I can rotate the holder from a vertical to a horizontal position and the flexible neck makes it easy to change the position of my phone to any angle.

I'm actually obsessed with this skin tint (I'm wearing the shade Perissa, FYI). I love that I can skip my primer and sunscreen at the beginning of my beauty routine, especially on the days I only have a few minutes to apply my makeup. It honestly feels like I'm applying a serum to my face it's so lightweight and the sheer coverage is just enough to even out my skin tone and give me a little glow.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $62. Available in 30 shades.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $23.85.
I don't like spending a lot of time on my brows, but I love the look of a full and fluffy brow. I would normally go for a pencil to fill and shape them, but I actually really like using the clear shade of this stick. There's a teensy silicone brush on the other hand, so after I fluff up my arches with the stick, I can comb through the hairs to shape them. It takes less than a minute to groom my brows and they stay intact all day long.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $14.96+ (available in four shades) or from Shoppers Drug Mart for $18.49 (available in four shades).
I bought my first one a couple years ago and now I have a small and colourful collection of Baggu bags. I usually carry a small purse, so I always keep one with me to fit the random bits and bobs I buy when I'm out. They're so durable and spacious that I only need a few to carry my groceries and they've never ripped, snapped, or buckled under pressure. And can I just mention how cute the patterns are? Plain plastic bags are so two thousand and late. I'm all about the stylish and reusable shopping bags now!
Get it from Indigo for $17. Available in four prints.
I never leave the house without this little tin, because it's just so handy. I know that it's technically a lip balm, but I use it on other parts of my body that are feeling a little dry (read: my hands). The texture is like a more solid version of petroleum jelly, so it'll give my skin a bit of shine without feeling heavy or greasy.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $9.50.
I'll be honest, my growing shoe collection is getting a little out of hand. I already maxed out the space in my entryway and bedroom, even after I stored a bunch in my basement. I was looking for a simple fabric shoe organizer, but this metal shoe rack was such a good idea. It's so sturdy, takes up very little space on the inside of my closet door, and holds a decent amount of footwear (up to 18 pairs). I'm using it for flats and heels right now, but I'll be able to fit my chunky boots and sneakers during the fall and winter seasons.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $46.51.
Washing dishes is my least favourite chore, so you can only imagine how I feel about washing AND sterilizing half a dozen baby bottles Every. Single. Day! This sterilizer was an absolute godsend and I'm convinced that it's saved me hours after using it for just a few months. I love that it comes with multiple compartments, so I sterilize everything at the same time. It's super easy to set the cycle and for the amount of time I want. Plus, unlike other sterilizer, I never have to dry the bottles afterward. They're always ready to go.
