For example, in 2018, people left sexist and racist comments on Kelly Marie Tran's Instagram account after her major success in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Because of the horrific online harassment she endured, Tran deleted her Instagram account.

And in 2019, Brie Larson received death threats and constant harassment because she played the lead role in an MCU movie, and sexist Marvel fans couldn't accept it.
