Musicians Honor The Beatles On David Letterman With “Beatles Week”

David Letterman had Broken Bells, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, The Flaming Lips, and Ms. Lauryn Hill on his show last week to cover Beatles songs.

The week-long performances commemorated The Beatles’ first performance on American television 50 years ago on The Ed Sullivan Show.

1. “And I Love Her”/”I Am the Walrus” mash-up covered by Broken Bells with Ringo Starr.

Aired Monday, February 3rd.

2. “Drive My Car” covered by Sting with Ivy Levan and Mike Einziger.

Aired Tuesday, February 4th.

3. “Get Back” covered by Lenny Kravitz.

Aired Wednesday, February 5th.

4. “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” covered by The Flaming Lips with Sean Lennon.

Aired Thursday, February 6th.

5. “Something” covered by Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Aired Friday, February 7th.
