    1. A heavy duty power strip so you can plug in your phone, laptop, smart home devices, lamp, speaker...everything you need at once! No more running around the house to charge everything in different rooms due to a lack of outlets., Amazon

It features 10 outlets, four USB ports, an on/off switch, and a 6-foot heavy duty cord.

Promising review: "Really needed more plugs for my living room, since there's always a problem if there is more than one person who wants to use their laptop, plug in a game, and charge their phone. I tried the USB port with my Samsung lightning cable for my phone and it worked just as good as usual β€” convenient so my friends don't need to bring around matching adapters. The spacing is very convenient for my laptop to have room next to the TV plug, and now I can extend it and reach the HDMI port at the same time. The cable has a good amount of reach, but it's thick and won't tangle. Overall worth the purchase." β€”Vida

Get it from Amazon for $26.99 (available in black and white).

    2. A weekly planner mouse pad that'll help you keep your daily tasks at top of mind during your busy day. This unique combination notepad and mouse pad has a slot for a pen and lined sections for each weekday, the weekend, and to jot some notes.

"my awesome week" pad features sections for weekdays, one for the weekend, and one for notes

Promising review: "The calendar is incredible handy for keeping track of projects at work. There's plenty of room for writing down daily tasks β€” I've been known to cram in several tasks in a day's column for particularly busy weeks. The spot for the pen is really handy, too. And I love the positive affirmations for each day! The whole thing is a great vibe for the week. Quality wise this product is excellent. The paper is sturdy, and each week tears off easily from the side. It arrived plastic-wrapped and in good condition." β€”Katie Marie

Get it from Amazon for $11.81 (available in four designs).

    3. A waterproof desk pad to double as a mouse pad and a coaster to protect the surface from scratches and coffee cup rings. No need to stress about ruining your new desk or table.

reviewer's pink desk pad with their keyboard and mouse on it

Promising review: "Bought this desk pad to cover a big scratch on my IKEA desk and I love it. I got the 35.4" x 17" size which I recommend if you have a larger size desk. It's a very comfortable and non-slip surface on the top. The pink one is not a bright pink, it's a deeper blush pink. It does move around on the desk a little bit, so what I did is put some tape under it so it wouldn't slide around. All in all, I love this desk pad for both appearance and functionality." β€”Kayla

Get it from Amazon for $12.27+ (available in three sizes and 15 colors).

    4. An Echo Dot so Alexa can be your at-home assistant. She can set alarms and reminders for you, play your favorite songs while you work, and more.

    reviewer's echo dot in plum

This compact smart speaker can play music, answer questions, read the news, check the weather, set alarms, control compatible smart home devices, and more.

Promising review: "I absolutely love it! Bought to use as a radio/ambient noise device as I fall asleep, but now realize the capabilities FAR exceeded what I initially purchased it for, so I also use it as an alarm clock, Bluetooth speaker for my iPad, personal assistant ('Alexa, add milk to my shopping list'), Amazon Music speaker (which I never used until buying the Dot). The sound quality is really good, especially considering it’s small size and relatively 'budget friendly' price. I definitely recommend to anyone, and if you’re a Prime member...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. Don’t even 'add to cart' just click 'buy now' and watch your life get simpler." β€”Dave S

Get it from Amazon for $24.99 (available in four colors).

    5. A Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube Guy to keep on your desk so you can have a little dance party with him when you need some cheering up.

Promising review: "I opened the package and screamed for joy! As I placed the 9-volt battery my hands were trembling with what was going to happen next! As I turned on the wacky waving inflatable tube man I knew I have a friend for life. Someone you can really count on cheering you up when you are feeling down. He brought me such joy, I started to cry with laughter and happiness." β€”Robert Wurstner

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    6. A set of six cable clips so you can keep your charger cords organized and in sight. No more digging around and behind your desk to find them.

A phone charger cord resting in the cable clip on a surface

Promising review: "These seem to work very well. Other brands had comments about them not sticking well so I went with this brand and am very happy with them. I am using them on my desk at work as well as on the back of my night table at home to keep my charger cords from slipping behind the furniture. Sure works better than Scotch taping the cords to my desk." β€”bigmag

Get them from Amazon for $6.97.

    7. A mesh desk organizer that'll help keep your desk clutter-free and set up for success. You can store folders and paperwork in the upper slots and fill the lower compartments with notebooks, push pins, sticky notes, and more so everything is there when you need it.

the mesh desk organizer in black filled with folders, a notebook, scissors, a stapler, sticky notes, a calculator, and more

Promising Review: "Wonderful product that meets expectations. I bought this product since it had several features I was looking for β€” file sectionals for papers, shelf for folders or papers, drawer bins for various items. It really saved me from buying several different products or buying something with features I didn't need. The construction and material are solid and sturdy like you'll find in high-end offices. The drawers work seamlessly, sliding as if riding on air. Product description was spot on. Delivery was fast. Packaging was sensible." β€”Sid

Get it from Amazon for $24.97 (available in black and silver).

    8. An ergonomic memory foam wrist-rest set made of soft and breathable material to make all that typing more comfy for you.

reviewer's keyboard wrist rest pad and mouse wrist cushion

Promising review: "Wow, what a difference! These keyboard and mouse wrist pads make keyboarding so much more comfortable that they're helping me type faster, and no more 'mousing shoulder,' since you don't need to move your arm around as much while using the mouse. (Seriously, 'mousing shoulder' has been a very painful issue on many occasions. These pads are surprisingly helpful with the ergonomics of the keyboard/mouse area.) Both pads are very comfortable on the wrists, and have good traction on the bottom so they stay put on your desk or typing surface. I'm typing and keyboarding for much longer time periods, with very little pain. Highly recommend!" β€”ARCReviewer

Get the set of two pieces from Amazon for $14.76+ (available in three colors).

    9. A daily tear-off planner pad for an easy and aesthetically pleasing way to lay out everything from your daily water intake to meetings and tasks.

The planner pad, which says "you've got this!" at the top

Each page includes a section for the date, a gratitude reminder, appointments, priorities, to-do's, notes, water intake, health and fitness, meal planner, and daily achievements.

Promising review: "You can stop scrolling around looking for the perfect planner because this one is absolutely PERFECT. Really helps manage my time and keep track of things all across the board. I also appreciate the positivity it exudes. Starts my day off just right!! I'll definitely be ordering more." β€”Brit

    10. A standing desk converter that'll allow you to get out of your chair for a bit. Standing desks can help to relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, and increase productivity.

Promising review: "This stand-up desk converter has changed my work habits and improved my lower back in just less than one week. It's great. Not sitting all day has given me more energy as the day goes on. And my back feels better. It's well worth buying." β€”Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $149.99+ (available in five colors and two sizes).

    11. A set of fine point marker pens perfect for color coding your tasks or notes.

Promising review: "I really like these pens a lot! I got them for my planner and they write super nice! They don't bleed through the paper, which is what I was worried about, so I'm very happy about that." β€”RachRene

Get a pack of 18 from Amazon for $9.98.

    12. A pastel expanding file folder that'll help you organize your assignments, documents, and other annoying papers that are cluttering your work space.

the file folders in a variety of colors including pink, blue, yellow, mint, and lavender

Each file folder has five pockets.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this! I've always been the type of person to have a different folder for each subject in school, and to buy new folders every semester because they accumulate wear and tear by the end of the term. But it became too annoying to have to switch out notebooks and folders every day depending on what classes I had. It also increased the likelihood that I'd forget a folder for a particular class, so I gave this a try. After four months of continuous use, it's held up really well! It holds everything that I need and it is always by my side. It actually still looks somewhat new. I got compliments on it because it's cute and a great organizational tool." β€”KaleSensei

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in 10 colors).

    13. And a desktop document holder with an adjustable clip to keep those ~extra~ important work papers in sight. One reviewer even noted that it was strong enough to hold up their 500-page textbook while doing schoolwork., Amazon

It can hold up to 150 sheets in place AND it folds flat for storage.

Promising review: "I love this as a writer. I was able to attach a miniature reading light to it and it holds my papers for when I'm typing or editing from them. I used to prop my papers up on anything and they'd slide down. This is great and I move it to the couch when I'm working on my laptop, too." β€”Terry Spear

Get it from Amazon for $12.10.

    14. A floating desk perfect for anyone who has been working from their bed, couch, kitchen table, etc. because you don't have space for a regular desk. This will give you a proper work area without taking up floor space.

the wall desk in white with six small shelves and a large top shelf

Promising review: "Bought this desk in black for my 9-year-old daughter's bedroom and she absolutely loves it and is spending a lot of time reading books and doing homework on her new desk! Everyone that has seen it thinks it is so cool that it just mounts to the wall and frees up the floor space β€” it really makes the room look bigger and more open. Took a few hours for my husband to put together and it is very heavy and sturdy." β€”Valerie

Get it from Wayfair for $209.99 (available in three colors).

    15. A pack of divider sticky notes so you can easily find what you're looking for in your notebook or planner. No more wasting time shuffling through everything and skimming every page.

The divider sticky notes in yellow, orange, pink, green, blue, and purple

Promising review: "I use these dividers in my bullet journal in lieu of a key or index. They work perfectly. I actually laminated them and attached them with decorative washi tape because I literally use it everyday and didn't want the paper to wear out. I'm sure they would work without doing this, but I'm a little lamination obsessed. LOL." β€”PDiddy

Get them from Amazon for $3.59 (also available in packs of two, three, four, six, eight, nine, and 12).

    16. A box of rose gold binder clips, paper clips, and push pins for some stylish home office supplies that'll take your WFH ~aesthetic~ to the next level. Now you won't have to go digging through your junk drawers every time you need one measly paper clip.

Promising review: "I was being picky about my desk supplies and wanted rose gold supplies and marble accents. I ordered these and they are so perfect! The paper clips have a little 'lip' that separates the papers a little bit, but everything is so cute and I love the container it comes in as well." β€”Theresa

Get it from Amazon for $9.98.

    17. A super cute ergonomic mouse pad with wrist support so you can add some personality to your work space and also keep your hand and wrist as comfortable as possible.,

Promising review: "This mouse pad is tacky on the backside which I didn't realize, but really like. It keeps it from sliding around. Overall this is a great product for the money and keeps my hand/wrist from hurting throughout the day." β€”Julie Dunfee

Get it from Amazon for $9.98+ (available in 33 designs).

    18. A lap desk with a cushioned bottom, built-in mouse pad, and a slot to hold your phone, perfect for anyone who doesn't like to stay in one seat all day. With this you can easily move around the house and bring your workstation with you.

reviewer's laptop and mouse on the lap desk

Promising review: "I'm really enjoying this lap desk. I debated for awhile on whether to get a lap desk or the kind like a bed table. I ended up just pulling the trigger on this, thinking that if I didn't like it I wouldn't be out too much money. However, it was a great choice, my laptop has found a home LOL. Even though my laptop is larger, it fits well and I enjoy the mouse pad. And the side slot fits my phone and Fire Stick remote well. I think most phones would fit unless you have a bulkier case. I find myself using this in multiple positions β€” flat on my lap like standard, resting on the arm of the sofa, on my lap with knees bent as I lay back in bed. The only problem with that last position is the mouse slides off so I have to use the touch pad. I really like this desk!" β€”B Figueroa

Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available in six colors).

    19. A cellphone stand that'll allow you to keep your phone propped up and plugged in while you work so you can easily glance over at your notifications.,

Promising review: "Love this stand. It works great on my desk. My favorite part and the reason I chose this stand over others that are similar was the place for the charging cable. You do not have to disconnect the charger to remove this phone from the stand. The design allows you to pick up the phone from the stand with the charger still plugged in. Others do not have an open top. So you have to thread the cable through a hole so it becomes a pain to pick up and put down your phone." β€”Dee McNett

Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in seven colors).

    20. An LED desk lamp with a simple, clean design that provides five different color modes and seven brightness levels. It also has a built-in USB port, a tilt-able head, and a swivel so you can create a truly custom lighting experience that's easy on the eyes in low-light work areas.

reviewer's desk lamp providing bright light on their desk area

Promising review: "This lamp is truly awesome, especially for the price point. It's so adjustable and can be fully customized based on use. You can bend it, angle it, turn it, and you can adjust the the shade of lighting as well as brightness. It's clean lines and takes up minimal desk space too. I plan on ordering more for my kids." β€”Mom2Four

Get it from Amazon for $39.99+ (available in four colors).

    21. A single-serve coffee maker so you can save time and money on Starbucks runs β€” plus, it won't take up too much counter space.,

This coffee maker features two button options that allow you to easily choose between brewing ground coffee or K-Cups. You can also remove the tray to place a larger cup, like a travel mug. PLUS, it only takes about three minutes to brew!

Promising review: "I purchases this because I really wanted to stop buying expensive K-Cups and just use a refillable cup. This coffee maker is perfect for that. I love the fact the I can switch between K-Cups and fresh brewed coffee. It's very easy to use (much easier than a Keurig). The coffee comes out perfect every time!" β€”Brittney Robinson

Get it from Amazon for $59.59.

BuzzFeed Shopping editor's picture of the candle on a table
    Kayla Boyd / BuzzFeed

I received this candle as a gift from a friend and it's so lovely! The company is Black woman-owned and the soy candles are hand-poured in North Carolina. The Charleston Sweet Tea scent reminds me of a summer trip I took to Charleston a few years ago with the friend who gifted it. It smells like berries, flowers, and apples. And it's been burning pretty slowly, which is always a plus because I light it almost every day while I'm working!

Get it from Southern Elegance Candle Co. for $20.

    23. Or an illuminating essential oil diffuser so you can enjoy some soothing scents and add some moisture to the air while you're doing work. It's compact enough to fit on a desk and it automatically shuts off when it runs out of water so you don't have to worry about it overheating.

reviewer's essential oil diffuser glowing in purple

Promising review: "This is a really great diffuser, especially for a first-timer like me. It's small and simple and also succeeds in freshening up my entire room. The 30-second burst is great at keeping your space feeling and smelling great throughout the day, while the continuous mode lasts for about six hours so I keep it on while I'm sleeping." β€”Pascal Ibe

Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in four colors)

And don't forget to grab a pack of assorted essential oils!

    24. A memory foam seat cushion to provide you with tons of extra comfort while you're sitting at your desk or table all day. It's kinda hard to get things done when you're literally in pain.,

This useful cushion can help to relieve pain in the lower back, lumbar, tailbone, prostate, hip, piriformis, spine, legs, back, and more.

Promising review: "We have purchased five of these seat cushions, with three as gifts. Two of those we purchased this cushion for have pretty serious sciatica problems. It was so much help for one that he ordered a second for his office chair, so he would not have to carry his first one from the car to the office. Total transformation for him! My husband and I each use one. I've had back surgery, and I can't explain what this seat cushion does for my back issues when driving." β€”G-mo

Get it from Amazon for $39.95 (available in five colors).

    25. A chic monitor stand with a place for your phone, glasses, pens, and more. It'll give your desk a unique look, increase your storage space, *and* help you keep track of your stuff.

the gold monitor stand with a computer on it, a phone, and compartments filled with pens, glasses, and other office supplies

Promising review: "Very high-quality piece and does just what I needed: tidies up my desk, while providing space underneath for active files, and storage spots on top. I usually have my cellphone in one of the perfectly sized slots. I highly recommend this organizer." β€”Lori

Get it from Wayfair for $59.99+ (available in six colors).

    26. An under-desk foot rest to help you feel extra comfy while sitting for hours. It'll help take the pressure off your feet and lower back and assist in improving your posture.

reviewer's feet on the foot rest

    The cover is also machine-washable.

Promising review: "I have been trying to find something to rest my feet on while sitting at my desk and it needs to be just the correct height or I will still have back pain. This is perfect because my feet sink to the correct height. Plus, it is soft and comfortable but not mushy. The cover unzips for washing when necessary. I only wish I had found this a long time ago and I hope it lasts a long time." β€”Eva

Get it from Amazon for $24.95.

    27. A sturdy laptop riser that'll bring your laptop up to eye level so you don't have to be hunched over all day long and end your day with a stiff back.

reviewer's laptop on the silver riser

Suitable for any laptop 10–15.6 inches.

Promising review: "The Soundance Laptop Stand is a simply constructed accessory that simply does what it is supposed to do... hold a laptop at a height that puts the display closer to eye level. I use it for my 2019 16" Macbook Pro. The front of the laptop now sits just shy of 5" above the desk and the rear at about 6.5". The middle of the display is now about 11.5" above the desk and the Facetime HD camera of the laptop is just shy of 16" above the desktop. The laptop stand is a snap to assemble (you'll recognize the pun after you assemble your own), sits solidly on the desktop, and the laptop is cradled soundly." β€”rln

Get it from Amazon for $25.49+ (available in nine colors).

    28. A cozy blanket sweatshirt for anyone who is like, always cold. This is *much* easier than wrapping yourself up like a burrito in a throw blanket and attempting to type at the same time., Amazon,

I LOVE this thing. It allows you to literally wrap yourself in a blanket, but still be able to use your hands, without your poor arm suffering in the cold breeze. I wear this while working from home, watching Netflix, and while taking naps. It's so comfy that there have been times I don't want to take it off when I have to run to the store β€” the only reason I do is because I don't want it to get dirty. I can't imagine one person that wouldn't be happy to have this wonderful bundle of coziness.

Promising review: "To say that it is comfy is more than and understatement. It feels like wearing a soft and warm blanket turned into a hoodie. Because I want to take a nap while wearing, I just put the hood on, tuck my legs in and fall asleep right away, warm and comfortable, no need to wear a blanket over it. Perfect for lazy Sundays!" β€”Patricia

Get it from Amazon for $39.99 (available in 12 colors and prints).

    29. An ergonomic desk chair with lumbar support, a mesh back for breathability, 360-degree swivel wheels, and a thick padded seat so you no longer have to "make it work" with the uncomfortable chair that you dragged in from the kitchen table. More than 11,000 reviewers gave this chair a 5-star rating!

    reviewer's task chair in black

Promising review: "I searched endlessly and tirelessly online for what I hoped to be a lasting chair that would provide ease, comfort, relaxation, durability, and bolstering. This chair by Furmax gets a 5/5 in every category. It took me just about 25 minutes to assemble (which is only because I'm not much of a handy tool guy). I'd say this chair takes 15 minutes tops to assemble when done precisely and correctly. The moment I sat in it, I was instantly relieved of any doubt or speculation that it wouldn't be of long-term use for me. The seat itself, which you can see in the pics, is large, plush, and incredibly comfortable to sit on! The chair's back is quality at its finest with ultimate back support. Seating adjustment with the lever is as simple and easy as it gets, and the height just right! The wheels move smoothly and easily across my hardwood floor with absolutely no means of scratching or denting it. This chair is total finesse! I wholeheartedly recommend it to you. Your entire body will appreciate you getting it this chair." β€”E. Davis
