I use The Lip Bar's matte liquid lipsticks often and the formula is truly incredible. It hardly budges at all throughout the day, the pigment is bomb, AND it doesn't dry out my lips at all — which is honestly difficult to find in a matte lipstick. —Kayla

Promising review: "Love, love, love Lip Bar in 'Bawse Lady'!!! I do not normally wear any lipstick/gloss, but purchased this because it’s vegan and every lady needs a pop of red in her life. And it’s beautiful! I’m a believer and will purchase more colors. It’s not on the cheap end, but it’s worth it. It lasts ALL day and doesn’t get on my teeth." —CaliCat

Three mini lipstick tubes in different shades of red

Promising review: "I’ve wanted to try PMG lipsticks for a long time. These little mini sets are a pretty sweet way to try multiple shades and actually use the whole product. The packaging seems rather cheaply made but these are sample size so I get that. The formula is truly matte which inevitably means drying so use a nice hydrating balm or oil before applying. The color and payoff are stunning. Elson is such a gorgeous classic red. I would definitely buy the full size. Guinevere is beautiful too — a bold gothic, blood red. Fever Dream isn’t really my shade but it would be amazing with a suitable skin tone. It’s a warm terracotta coral red and I am probably too pale. Formula and color-payoff of these lipsticks are awesome but the extreme baby size was a little disappointing. I would go for a full-size MatteTrance bullet. I did reuse all the little sequins in the packaging for an art project." —Natalia87

Get it from Sephora for $25 OR the full-size lipsticks for $40 each.
