    1. A draft stopper that'll close up the space under your door to keep out the chilly breeze this time of year. Reviewers ❤️ it for a multitude of other uses, too — from blocking warm air in the summer, reducing noise, keeping bugs out, or even keeping pets from sticking paws or knocking toys under doors and appliances.

Promising review: "Why did I wait so long? I've been struggling with door stoppers and/or rolled-up rugs to keep the cold air out. Finally got tired of how unattractive it was to have a rolled blanket in front of the door, but none of the regular door stoppers worked very well and got all bunched up. After researching ways to keep the cold air from coming in under the door, I came upon this under-door seal. Decided to try it and so happy. It was so easy, and it looks so nice. You can't really tell it's there, and so far it's stopped cold air. Just got it today but from what I can tell it looks like it will stay put for awhile, and if not they included some extra tacks that could be used, but the glued strip seems pretty strong. I highly recommend it, and the price is so reasonable." —Nancy H.

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in four colors).

    2. A spoopy silicone witch who'll cast her spell on you by being a double-duty helper — she can hold spoons *and* keep your pot vented to release steam!,

Promising review: "Agatha accidentally took a ride through the garbage disposal; she came out unscathed. My mom has asked me for one every time she comes over because it’s so cute. Finally after months, Agatha was in stock, and I was able to buy my mother one as well. It’s small and doesn’t take up much space considering it’s a novelty...and VERY durable (hence the ride through the garbage disposal)." —Jessica

Get it from Amazon for $16.

    3. Sassy socks that are a huge mood, with a message you'll want to display constantly during PSL season. Here's hoping it works at least a few times.

    4. The Vision Board Book, aka the basis of your new fall project. It's got over 700 pictures and phrases to provide inspo and for you to cut out and collage to your heart's content.

    Free Period Press

Get it from Free Period Press or Amazon for $29.99.

    5. Keurig-cleaning cups that can be used with any Keurig single-cup machine and will keep your homemade brews tasting their best, eliminating any residue from old batches. Because suffice it to say, you're going to be making (and consuming) a lot of coffee these next several months.

Promising review: "10 stars!! Pictures are worth 1,000 words, folks. I haven’t cleaned my Keurig in years...yes, it’s nasty, but I guess I never really thought about it. As you can see from start to finish, the water was BLACK in the beginning; now it is CLEAR! I can’t wait to clean my Keurig every week (it’s too easy not to do it) plus enjoy tomorrow’s cup of Joe :). Amazing product. Easy to use. No smell. I already bought two more boxes. 👍" —Amazon Customer

Get a pack of five from Amazon for $15.43.

    6. A chic folding desk perfect for crafting a makeshift office in even the smallest of apartments, because work-from-home times continue, and your housemates are kind of tired of you dominating the kitchen table with all your papers and devices.

light wood two-tier desk in corner of reviewer's home

Or is that just my mom?

Promising review: "I ordered this desk in a pinch. I live in Brooklyn in a smaller apartment where I quite frankly have no space to have a freestanding desk with my other furniture. When my company implemented a WFH policy last week, I took a gamble and ordered this desk because 1) I could collapse it and tuck it under my bed when I wasn't using it, and 2) it was spacious and sturdy looking enough to actually do work on. I received it today, and I am beyond pleased. No setup required — quite literally took it from the box, slid it from collapsed to open, and began working on it. Cannot recommend this enough for the price and functionality!" —Sydney

Get it from Amazon for $39.99+ (available with one or two tiers and in seven colors).

    7. A practically perfect pullover sweatshirt that'll make you forget the concept of "boyfriend sweatshirt" — you'll be ready to make a more serious commitment and full-on marry this baby.,

Promising review: "Perfect! This is so comfy I don’t ever want to take it off! It is very oversized, but after I washed it, it’s actually so perfect, and I’m glad I got the large. The color and quality are amazing. It feels like it’s already been broken in. If I had a boyfriend to steal sweatshirts from, I feel like this would be it. 😂" —beautypot ✨

Get it from Amazon for $14.50+ (available in unisex sizes S–3XL and in eight colors).

    8. A super-affordable throw in a stylish design like checks or ombré that really combines style and (snuggly) substance., Amazon

Promising review: "If you haven't pressed 'add to cart' yet, DO IT NOW. This is the softest fl*ffin' blanket I've ever held in my arms, both before and after washing. I've dreamt of this blanket for years, and not in my wildest Lifetime-watching, couch-lounging days did I think I would find it. I'm not weird, but I would marry this blanket if I could, and if you're married please know that if you buy it, you will consider a divorce while you figure out how to marry it too. Must be spun out of angel hair and puppy tears. Not sure how it got past customs, and I don't care. Order this blanket, or spend the rest of your life knowing you made the biggest mistake you will ever make." —Maverick

Get it from Amazon for 17.99+ (available in four sizes and 15 designs).

    9. A bestselling foot balm you can roll right onto your cracked tootsies for instant relief. It'll actually look super ~aesthetic~ on your dresser too — can you say that about any other foot cream?

Two large tubes of the balm in the black pepper and clove and tea tree and grapefruit versions

This Maine-based small business makes tons of natural and handcrafted skincare goodies.

Promising review: "Very cute and handy packing. It is like a ChapStick for your feet. I like how I don't have to use my fingers while applying this on my feet. Generally most foot creams and balms come in jars, and putting them on my feet leaves my fingers oily, which then transfers onto my laptop or phone screen...ugghh. But this Hoof Healer is completely mess-free. I have used it only twice till now, and I already notice a massive difference in my heels. Fully recommended. Thank you so much, Kristin, for the beautiful product and phenomenal customer service. :D" —Shai

Get it from PicklesPotions on Etsy for $8.99+ (available in two sizes and three scents).

    10. A set of sandwich cutting tools that are basically the holy grail of back-to-school buys if your kids are sandwich-crust-refusing picky eaters. No more PB&J leaking all over their lunch box or time spent tediously trimming off the crusts when trying to get them out the door for school.

Each of the three included shapes has three pieces: a small cutter to cut meat, cheese, and other fillings into the right size, a sandwich cutter, and a sealing tool. The package even comes with cute joke cards to pack in your kiddo's lunch box!

Promising review: "My whole family is a huge fan of the traditional store-bought versions of these sandwiches. But I hate the price! I’m so glad I gave these cutters a try because, in less than an hour and with a single loaf of bread, I made two varieties of sandwiches that would’ve cost me over $10 in a grocery store. These cutters will definitely pay for themselves over time! You do have a significant amount of crust waste with each sandwich, but if you google recipes for bread pudding, you can use the scraps to make yourself a really tasty dessert! This is going to be a game changer for school lunches, and I can’t wait to experiment with other flavor combos for my kids!" —J. L. McHale

Get a set of three from Amazon for $19.96.

    11. And for another lunch box win, some super slim and convenient ice packs, which will be a huge improvement from the bulky monstrosities you (or your kiddo) used to tote in your (or their) lunch bag.

Promising review: "Very durable! Bought these to put in my kids' lunch boxes without taking up as much space; they are very thin and fit great! Super easy to clean; another bonus is they don’t take up a bunch of freezer space at home. Great value and great price!" —Shanea Finley

    Get a four-pack from Amazon for $8.99.

    12. A cool and convenient foot scrubber mat that attaches to the side or floor of your tub (or shower) with suction cups so you can easily get your nasty tootsies clean without losing your balance in the shower and while giving them a good pampering, too. After a summer of sandals and the upcoming dry, flaky skin season, those heels and toes sure as heck need it.

reviewer's foot on gray textured mat

Reviewers with limited mobility also swear by it to save them from having to bend over to clean their feet!

Promising review: "I love this foot scrubber! The soles of my feet were dry and itchy before, and after I used the scrubber I didn't feel the itchiness anymore. Other than cleansing the soles of my feet, it exfoliates. You can’t go wrong buying this! Try it yourself!" —Minerva

Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in three colors).

    13. A double-sided silicone lip exfoliator brush you're sure to wanna ~kiss up to~ to smooth out your dry fall pout when regular lip balm just isn't cutting it. Hello, smoothest lips of your life.

Promising review: "Love it!! The picture (above right) is just from brushing for a few minutes, then massaging in treatment with the other side (like they instruct you to). More color, super smooth, and I’m sure the treatment will absorb more efficiently 😊. It’s a cheap tool that will make all the difference. Must buy." —Ray

Get it from Amazon for $7.99 (available in three colors).

    14. CND SolarOil, a low-key magical oil here to banish brittle nails and dry cuticles — seemingly inevitable results of colder weather and frequent handwashing — for good. Nailed it!,

Promising review: "I had a problem with my cuticles getting so dry that they would split sometimes, and no matter how many times I put lotion on my hands they would never get moist enough to lay flat like they’re supposed to. My nails were dry and brittle, so I’d end up with one breaking and then have to cut them all back in order to have them the same length. This oil has ended all of that. Now I have to cut them back because they seem to be growing faster. I haven’t had a nail split since the day I started using this oil. It soaks into your cuticles and nails so well. I was really good at using it every day in the beginning, but in the last week I got busy and only used it twice, so I ended up with a split cuticle. That’ll help you remember, right?!?! I got back on track these last two days, and the cuticle is healed already. That’s just how moisturizing this stuff is. I highly recommend it!" —mlasorensen

Get it from Amazon for $8.50.

    15. A vented, dishwasher safe, silicone-rimmed universal lid that can fit on pots and pans from 9.5 to 12 inches in diameter and ~top~ off all the yummy soups, stews, and pastas you're making this season. No more splattery messes, and more importantly, no more spending forever trying to find the right size lid.

the black and clear lid with handle next to a pan

Promising review: "Got this for my 10-inch and 12-inch Lodge cast-iron skillets. It's a perfect fit on both of them, and the quality is nice and heavy. I like that it can be thrown in the dishwasher, but if water spots bother you, it's probably best to hand-wash and dry it. Whichever way, cleanup is quick and easy. So glad I bought this and will consider buying another for those times I want two things covered on the stove at the same time." —michelle

Get it from BuzzFeed's Goodful Collection on Amazon for $16.55 (also available in gray here).

    16. A lockable, leakproof travel dog water bottle so you can just press a button and let water flow into the little bowl to hydrate your pooch during all your fall (and beyond) park days and hikes. No more sharing human water bottles with them, toting collapsible bowls, or trying to get them to slurp from hoses or water fountains.,

Promising review: "This is absolutely the BEST thing to buy for your dogs if you take them out everywhere you go or at all honestly! No throwing out water because they didn't drink the water you poured out. With this, you supply the water, and what they don't drink goes back into the water bottle for them. Very easy to clean." —Dog Mom

Get it from Amazon for $11.99+ (available in two sizes and three colors).

    17. The cult-fave Instant Pot Duo, a programmable wonder that can cook pretty dang much anything and be the only kitchen gadget you need, for cozy autumn meals and everything else — it'll serve as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, yogurt maker, sauté pan, steamer, and rice cooker. All you have to do is toss in your ingredients and hit a button, and let this baby take it from there.,

Check out BuzzFeed's full Instant Pot review.

Promising review: "There are so many people who say they can't cook, but I swear I'm on a whole new level of not being able to cook. This little appliance helps expand our menu, and I have learned to do so much with it. I love how easy it is and how I throw everything in and it comes out done. No stirring and not many messy dishes. I still don't love it for meats, but I think that's just a matter of needing to experiment more with them. I seriously can't believe how many foods can be cooked in here! I found a recipe for a mac 'n' cheese that everyone loves. It's only five ingredients and only requires washing a cheese grater and the pot, and it only takes 20 minutes. Before this, I had never once made spaghetti with meat sauce. Now I do it all the time. Again, I only have ONE thing to clean afterward. If I tried doing without the Instant Pot, I would have a pan for the meat, pot for the pasta, and the strainer. It only takes about 20 minutes start to finish. Since I usually don't have to do many dishes with the Instant Pot, I tend to enjoy experimenting. My family is constantly surprised at how much this has changed how we eat. I love that when we have a last-minute neighborhood get-together I can whip up a pasta dish and veggie real quick." —Aundrea

Get it from Amazon for $66.32+ (available in three sizes).

    18. A cute lil' pumpkin mug you can enjoy all your fave warm drinks in (be they pumpkin-flavored or not) as Hot Girl Summer slips into Hot Beverage Fall.

clear mug with white pumpkins printed on it
    LuLu Rose by Lauren/Etsy

Promising review: "For all those fall and coffee lovers out there, this pumpkin glass is a must-have! It is so aesthetically pleasing with its minimalistic design and style, yet sturdy and heavy. Just the right combo for a great yet useful mug. I am so pleased and cannot wait to display it with my fall decor…and to sip it for that first cup of pumpkin spice! It is definitely a favorite of mine already!" —Kellie Marchman

Get it from LuLu Rose by Lauren on Etsy for $14.99 (available in three colors).

    19. A super-handy electronics storage pouch with over 2,000 5-star ratings and the magical ability to allow all your bulky 21st-century must-haves to fit easily and securely in your carry-on, briefcase, or backpack. Frequent travelers, commuters, college students, and every one of us who has ever lost a precious Lightning cable, rejoice.

Promising review: "WHERE has this been all my life? I ordered this prior to a weeklong trip, and I feel like an idiot that I'd never invested in a cable bag. I got myself the version in black, and the finish on the outside is more like a very dark charcoal wool suit. I actually think this is nicer than a full black for travel, since the color is going to hide dirt from planes and the airport much better. I use it for all my charging bricks, a 1-foot Lightning cable, charging cables, earbuds, other iPhone/iPad accessories, and instead of a mouse I put in a backup battery pack. Once the items are in here, they will not move, and the straps have a grippy addition inside to ensure that they stay put if you have to open the case. I looked at a ton of options on Amazon before buying one of these, and I'm so glad that I chose this one!!!" —Spoon

Get it from Amazon for $16.99+ (available in three colors).

    20. A delicate cubic zirconia ring that's pretty much perfect for wearing every day — by itself or as part of a stack — as a personal, signature piece. It'll add a shot of glam to all the great looks you have planned this season, but it's not too wild of a splurge.

Get it from Baublebar for $48 (available in sizes 5–11 and in three colors) and shop similar rings to stack it with here.

    21. DampRid moisture absorber, which comes in handy little tubs and is perfect for anyone who is ready to get rid of that icky, humid summer smell (because it's September and somehow still feels like July). You plus this trusty product are the superhero duo your sticky bathroom has been waiting for.

A tub of the product on a bathroom counter

Each tub lasts up to 60 days and can be refilled with moisture-absorbing beads. It works best in small spaces like closets and bathrooms, and claims to help reduce allergens in the air, too!

Promising review: "I have no idea how/why it works, but it does. Put one each in bedroom and bathroom due to slight mildew odor in spring–fall. These rooms face north and get zero sunshine. Checked containers every couple weeks and emptied water. Lasted a few months. Perfect for my needs." —onejulia

Get a four-pack from Amazon for $16.97+ (available in four scents).

    22. A fun and colorful plaid button-down sure to become a wardrobe staple, because IMHO, plaid should basically be considered a neutral (especially in fall and winter)., Amazon

Reviewers recommend sizing up for a cool oversize look!

Promising review: "Soft and warm, but still light — perfectly oversized. Very, very soft. Not a thick, true flannel for those looking for that, but it’s a really nice replica for someone just looking for a comfy, fun shirt to wear during quarantine! Yup, I’m that person that found herself working from home with no casual clothes. This made me feel comfortable, warm, and still a little put together, LOL." —Cynthia

Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in sizes XS–XXL and in 45 styles).

    23. An absolutely incredible sea creature cat hat that would make an easy Halloween costume for your floofbucket, sure. But you're going to want to put them in it, laugh at them, and take approximately 732 pics every other day of the year, too.,

Promising review: "My cats are not very excited about this hat, but it's OK because I am very excited on their behalf. I tried it on two different cats, and it fit both of them, even though one cat is really small, and the other is a bit overweight. I got really lucky, and my surprise cat hat was the axolotl. I love that these are handmade. The packaging is also very cute (it says on the back: 'It's time to cat in style,' and I 10,000% agree with that statement). Highest recommendation." —mms

Get one of six random designs from Amazon for $7.99.

    24. A set of four amazingly magnetized blocks (each has 14 magnets inside!!!) you can plop into all sorts of positions while enjoying the, well, ~attractive~ feeling of them attracting and repelling. From rainy binge-watching days to keeping your hands busy during Zoom meetings and classes, you and your restless hands will get your money's worth from these in no time.

I pretty much always need to be doing something with my hands, even if I'm engrossed in a movie or show. I have the (currently backordered) pink and red set of these, and I futz with them every night as I watch TV. When I have friends over, they all grab these off my coffee table and very quickly become equally as obsessed as I am. They just feel so dang smooth and cool — I definitely recommend the rubberized "soft touch" style over the aluminum. You could definitely build some cool stuff with these with more than one set (they'd be great for desk organization since other metal objects stick to 'em), but the four of them are perfect as a fidget toy. They've held up super well despite my thorough fidgeting with them on the daily, and you honestly just deserve to try these and see how cool they are for yourself.

Promising review: "I love everything about these. The colors, the texture, and possibilities. They are great for stress and anxiety. Can’t wait to order more." —Madeline S.

Get them from Speks for $14.95 (available in two styles and three color combos).

    25. An amazing anti-fog spray, because it may be pesky but we should all still be masking up this fall! This is great for any four-eyed folks who have to mask all day for work or school (or even just on and off when running errands!). Just spritz this on your glasses before you head out the door, and they'll *actually* stay clear for once.

Promising review: "Completely prevents my glasses from fogging up with a mask! I clean my glasses in the morning before leaving for work, and they stay fog-free all day. It works exceptionally well, so it's well worth the price." —Pete T.

Get it from Amazon for $10.99.

    26. And some ear-saving mask hooks to further help glasses-wearers stay comfy rocking a mask all day. Not only will they take some pressure off your ears, but they'll prevent the tangled mess that ensues when there are just too dang many things hooked to your face (glasses, mask, earrings, headphones, or hearing aid, etc.).

model wearing glasses with the product attached to the side, with their mask hooked around the round hook rather than their ear
    Spec Hooks/Etsy

They're from a small business based in the UK!

Promising review: "These are so clever, useful, and such good value for money. I purchased them for my son who is a glasses-wearer and has eczema at the back of his ears, which mask strings seem to irritate further. They help immensely, but he also says they are so useful regardless of the eczema, because they stop mask strings from tangling in the arm of his glasses. Would absolutely recommend; so simple but so ingenious." —Louise

Get a pair and a carrying case from Spec Hooks on Etsy for $15.04.

    27. Chic booties with a cool lace-up detail and just-right heel height — as in the kind you're sure to fall for this fall, without falling down.,

    29. Musher's Secret, a vitamin E and beeswax balm that'll soothe and protect your poor pup's pads against heat, snow, and everything in between. Reviewers also like using it for dry doggo noses and human feet, too!

Promising review: "This product was recommended to us by our dog trainer, and it works really well! Living with a dog in the northern part of the United States is great. It's beautiful and has tons of forests for walking. But there was only one concern: Would our dog's paws freeze in our very chilly (single digit!) winters? Luckily, our trainer told us to buy this wax during the fall, so we were stocked up for winter! This paw protection is perfect for playtime in the snow and wintertime walks!" —Jeanne Thohan

Get it from Amazon for $24.99.

    30. Gorgeous Rifle Paper Co. file folders, because you miss stocking up on fun folders and school supplies every September when you were a kid. This is the (very posh) adult version.

three folders in rifle paper floral prints
    Rifle Paper Co

My mom gifted me these years ago, and they've held up great. Right now they're holding very boring adulting papers (insurance docs, bills, etc.) in my cabinet, but I've also used them for important papers when I travel. I once brought my dad home a card I'd made him stored in one of these, and he was bummed he didn't get to keep the folder as part of the gift. He usually hates floral prints, so that truly speaks volumes about how great these guys are.

Get a set of three from Rifle Paper Co. for $14 (available in three prints) or Amazon for $15 (available in two prints).

    31. A handy Souper Cubes freezer tray that makes it ~souper~ easy to freeze a half- or full-cup portion of notoriously hard-to-freeze cozy season dishes like soup, sauces, or any liquid ingredients. Then, just pop out as many cubes as you need for a meal or recipe, and thaw!

It's BPA-free and dishwasher-safe, and it has fill lines on the side of the compartments for half and full cups as well as 125 and 250 milliliters if you prefer the metric life.

Promising review: "LOVE LOVE LOVE. My freezer is so much more organized now. Gone are the days of having to defrost an entire bag of chicken broth for one cup for a recipe. I now have perfectly portioned half-cup and one-cup blocks ready to go. They fit easily in freezer bags, take up less space, and make me incredibly happy. There was a lot of attention to detail put into the design, and I particularly appreciate the wire inside the rim that holds everything steady — no more worrying about spilling all the liquid on the way to the freezer. Just a fantastic product all around. I purchased this and a cheaper version from another manufacturer at the same time, but returned the other product. This one is definitely worth the added cost." —Kate

Get it from Amazon for $19.95.

    32. Knee-high compression socks that are more than just a fall fashion statement — they're woven with copper that'll help increase blood flow and reduce swelling and soreness when you're on your feet from morning 'til night, or even if you're just going for a morning run or taking a long flight.,

Promising review: "Great for anyone who stands or walks a lot. I am an RN who works 12-hour shifts. I have been at it for over 40 years. Through the years, I have tried numerous compression socks, but usually gave them up after a few weeks because the discomfort outweighed the benefits. Not true of these socks. They are extremely comfortable, stay up without bunching, and fit perfectly. I love the colors. Our uniforms are dictated by management, so we always use our socks as a means of personalizing, and to be able to have options other than white is fantastic. I never realized how different my legs would feel with good compression socks. I will not work another day without them." —resa9699
