I own too many jackets; it's just a fact. I don't wear fur or leather for ethical reasons, so I specifically own a lot of faux leather jackets. It's such a rich, pigmented, unusual shade of purple (not eggplant, not lilac, but IN-YOUR-FACE-BRIGHT purple) that I couldn't pass it up. The length is excellent, because it's cropped enough I could see it working with skirts or dresses, but not so cropped that it looks awkward with jeans. The first time I wore it, I rocked it as part of a super layered look, and both for that reason and for comfort I would recommend going up a size if you're between sizes!
