Meet The Gross Spider Species Named After Dave Mustaine

    The scientist who discovered a new tartantula species is apparently a huge Megadeth fan, because he named it after Dave.

    Last week, a new tarantula species was discovered in Arizona and New Mexico. The scientist who discovered it, Dr. Brent E. Hendrixson, must be a big Megadeth fan, because he gave it the scientific name Aphonopelma Davemustainei.

    Dave tweeted about it along with a photo of a specimen Dr. Hendrixson gave him.
