Promising review: "I’ve suffered with wax buildup for the past few years and it became a routine to go to the doctor every 3-5 months to get my ears cleaned. It was a total hassle and the price of having to go to the doctor that frequently for such a small thing adds up. I finally bought this and I’m so glad I did. Now monthly I clean my ears with this product and I no longer suffer with impacted ear wax. I can’t recommend this enough to anyone who deals with wax buildup, it may be gross but this really helps." —Lisa and Fiona

Promising review: "This stuff really works! When I bought my house, I knew I had to get pest control because the house had been vacant for a while. We had huge carpenter ants and roaches. So gross. I paid about $200 in pest control and didn't really see any results so I started looking online for something and I came across Advion. I was a little skeptical but I figured if it doesn't work, I'm only out $20-$30. The day after I put it out, I saw roaches coming out of hiding, disoriented until they eventually died. I also noticed the carpenter ants were eating it too. I put it on a napkin or a piece of paper and left it on the counter. I also squirted it in the crevices of our kitchen and on the inside of the cabinets. It peels off easily after it dries. I bought 4 tubes and it did the trick. I think we saw one or two random bugs after months of not seeing any so I'm buying again to kill those off. I hope they disappear forever. Tip: Clean it up and reapply or leave out daily... I don't think it's effective when it dries." —Lysette R

Promising review: "It's hard to review this product without grossing people out but I think the truth needs to get out. There is some nasty stuff on your tongue that a toothbrush cannot remove, especially in the back. This thing allows you to remove it easily without gagging yourself by trying to shove a toothbrush down your throat. I was definitely surprised the first time I used it how much material I removed and yes that stuff smells bad. After that first time I couldn't get anywhere near as much off of my tongue which tells me that the material had been there a while. My breath is noticeably better now. This is a very simple tool and it cleans up well since it's just a piece of stainless steel and rubber handles." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I don't write reviews very often but this gel is amazeballs. After living in my place for a few years, my shower was super gross. I tried to use elbow grease and Clorox wipes to fix the mold and mildew but failed. I thought I had to continue to shower forever in filth or just burn my house down and take the mold with it. Then I discovered this product through BuzzFeed (of all places) and decided, what the heck, to give it a try. Holy moly, am I glad that I did. I just left it on for 4-5 hours, per the instructions, and every place this gel touched, the mold/mildew disappeared. I am so happy I gave it a chance and now my shower is fresh and I don't have to commit arson." —Gracielou Freebush

Promising review: "My bathroom sink kept clogging and draining slowly. It was starting to bother me, so I used one of these and pulled out a huge chunk of hair (gross, I know). I had so much gunk in there that I had to do it two more times to get everything out. It's great that they come with five refills because they are not reusable. Now my bathroom sink drains fine and I have a few extra left over for when it happens again." —Bre

Promising review: "Works absolute wonders! My toilet had the most disgusting black rings in it that looked like something they weren't, if you know what I mean. And despite cleaning it every single day, 15 MINUTES AT A TIME with bleach and a toilet brush to NO AVAIL, these rings would not budge, or even fade in the least. I was mortified using my own toilet, it was so gross looking. Then, I chanced upon this pumice stone ring remover on Amazon and ordered it. It worked IMMEDIATELY. The rings were gone in less than three minutes of scrubbing. It was a miracle!" —M.Miller

Promising review: "This thing is AMAZING! My sister-in-law introduced me to it and within a week I ordered the starter kit. I am completely hooked! NEVER again will I buy the traditional toilet cleaning brushes that sit and fester in all the gross toilet germs week after week. I will also NEVER have to worry about my two-year-old grabbing one of those nasty traditional cleaning brushes and running around the house with it! I absolutely LOVE that I can throw away the cleaning pads and start with a new one the next time around. I simply pop it off into the garbage, wipe the handle thoroughly with a Clorox wipe and place it in its handy little storage stand. Thank you Clorox for making this Mama a very happy camper when it comes to cleaning toilets!" —Emmyd787

Promising review: "OMG. I never leave reviews, but have to for this thing. My cat sleeps on our bed every single night. He’s huge, sheds more than should be possible, and we adore him. But the fur was out of control. I go through gazillions of lint rollers, washing machine doesn’t help, duct tape doesn’t make a dent, and the hair was not only gross but starting to make me get itchy and sneezy at night.
This thing is a game changer. My bedspread looks as good as new, and no sneezing! The disgusting amount of fur it pulled off is gross, but at least it’s no longer on my bed." —Emma

Promising review: "Awesome product! Simply amazed and grossed out what came out of my dryer duct pipe, which extends about 15 feet from the linen closet wall to the side of the house. Thirteen years of build-up: I was sickened by the amount of mildewed lint this brilliant item pulled out! Dryer time cut in half, no more mildew smell in the dryer and I'm sure less fire hazard! Wish I would have gotten long ago; wife wanted Lint Lizard, but did some research and this looked like the best bang for the buck! Works like a charm!" —Zoo

Promising review: "This thing does its job and more. I had another female move into my house and had issues with the drain. After snaking the drain, I quickly found the problem: hair. It's gross but it's a reality: if you live with women who have long hair, their hair will wind up in the shower drain. I saw an ad for this and figured I'd try it. After about a month, it definitely does its job. It is absolutely disgusting how much hair this thing catches and even more disgusting to clean the hair off of it, but I'd rather the hair be in the garbage than in my drain causing issues." —Megan S.

This is a natural pest control that doesn't use pesticides. It'll attract and trap hiteflies, fungus gnats, blackflies, thrips, fruit flies, midges, and other flying insects.
Promising review: "My gnats are gone! I purchased two house plants for my office, and one was infested with gnats. I would have them flying around my head all day. I finally got fed up and this was the first remedy I tried. I let the plant dry out a bit and put these suckers in it. It was gross how many gnats were on the sticky paper. After a few days my problem is gone. I haven't seen any gnats in a few weeks which is fantastic. These work." —L. Van Tol

They’re filled with bamboo charcoal and suck up bacteria- and odor-causing moisture, as well as the odor itself, leaving shoes dry and fresh. Check out a BuzzFeed writer's in-depth review on how these amazing shoe deodorizers take the stink away!
Promising review: "I'm on my feet over 10 hours a day at work, so it's no surprise that my shoes are smelly when I get home and take them off. Gross, I know, but I just pop a bag in each shoe and by the next morning they are good to go for my next 10 hour shift. I rotate the bags from my work and play shoes. They work very well and I like the fact that they are safe to use around pets, since my shoes are stored on their level. I would recommend these bags, they are good at removing smells and moisture and they are the perfect size to fit in shoes." —Berkley Wood

Promising review: "I usually don't write reviews for things I buy but this product is absolutely incredible and I had to let everyone who was considering it know. I have a Contigo coffee thermos and the bottom is really narrow, making it super hard to clean and causes gross coffee residue to build up at the bottom. I tried brushes, dish detergent, and baking soda but nothing could get it off. Then I finally bought a packet of these and after one use I couldn't believe my eyes. The cup looked shiny and new as when I first bought it. Officially hooked!" —Kathy Z.

Promising review: "Ok, here we go. I obviously have a issue with sweat if I'm looking into purchasing this product. I can tell you from my own experience that this works. Not only did it stop me from profusely sweating, but the more I'm using it, the longer I'm going in between applications. I would SWEAT like crazy; not just have some wetness but would soak an undershirt in a hour. Gross I know. But the fact is Sweatblock does just that, blocks the sweat. I'm more confident through my day knowing that my underarms are the least of my worries now. I have a stressful job that requires lots of lifting and working closely with co-workers. I'm no longer worried about getting huge pit stains while working. And for those who are skeptical, it's worth a try. This product truly works for me." —Paul H

Not even Mr. Clean Magic Erasers touched the rust stains on our bathtub. But now it's shiny and looks brand new. I sprayed it on (yes, it's more of a liquid than a gel but it still works). I came back an hour later and wiped it off. No elbow grease needed. Majority of the rust was gone, only thing left was soap scum and that easily wiped away. I'll be buying this stuff again!" —NMP
