Today's beauty influencers have the power to make, or break, a brand. And, every year, it seems as though a new crop of beauty influencers is poised and ready to assume the mantle from the beauty influencers of years past. With this in mind, we've come up with this list of the top 10 beauty influencers of 2016 ... and beyond.

1. Bethany Mota

At just 19 years old, this YouTube queen has already earned a spot on "Dancing With the Stars" and has more than 8 million subscribers on her channel!

2. Michelle Phan

In addition to her YouTube channel (launched when having a YouTube channel was a rarity), Phan co-founded a beauty subscription service called Ipsy and created her own makeup line, Em Cosmetics.

3. Em Sheldon

Sheldon has redefined what it means to be a beauty influencer by talking about fitness, health and wellness in addition to beauty on her blog, Em Talks.

4. Anja Rubik

The former model is now taking her business to the other side of the aisle with her new perfume brand called — appropriately — Original.

5. Sarah Wong

Wong, best known for her contributions to "Temporary Secretary," was one of the first beauty bloggers who showed others how important it was to use social media to connect with readers, fans and brands.

6. Doe Deere

She's been called a lot of things — and she's nothing if not controversial — but the Russia-born creator of the Lime Crime line of cosmetics has persevered through it all!

7. Emily Weiss

As a true millennial beauty influencer, Weiss took the "makeup as skincare" approach when she was developing her own line, Glossier.

8. Miranda Kerr

The famed actress — and mother of Orlando Bloom's child — has turned her attentions to makeup and launched Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr, an all-natural beauty line that does not test on animals.

9. Tea Party Hayley

The leader of the "Tea Party Beauty" cadre treats each reader as though she were "having a cuppa" (enjoying some tea) with them in her own living room, giving her readers a personalized beauty experience with a British twist.

10. Jessica Alba

The mother of all independent beauty entrepreneurs, the former "Dark Angel" actress turned The Honest Company into a multi-billion dollar enterprise!
