Unlike traditional hair dryers, this hot air brush can be held closer to the roots for increased volume and lift. It has three heat settings — including a cool setting. Reviewers with 2a through 4c hair mentioned it worked well for them and cut down on their drying time.
Promising review: "I am 100% a hair product snob. I don’t mind and always have invested money in my hair tools. This dryer is by far the best money I have spent on any hair tool ever. I am blown away. For reference I have extremely thick hair. It cut my hair drying process in half." —Jason P. Hilliard

Mane Club is a New York City-based small business established in 2019 that specializes in affordable haircare products.
Promising reviews: "I’m a snob about the stuff I use on my hair, especially the leave in products I use when I’m styling with my hair dryer. This stuff is the real deal, the perfect product, the hair ambrosia of the gods. It smells amazing, it doesn’t leave my hair greasy, and a little goes a long way. I won’t use anything else." —Nicci M.
"I’m a hairstylist, so I’ve tried just about every leave-in conditioner out there, and I was amazed at how soft my hair felt after one use. My curls were so happy! The smell is amazing too!! I will definitely be repurchasing." —Allison S.

Promising review: "I usually use high-end expensive mascara like Christian Dior, Buxom, and Tarte. I've also tried a variety of drugstore brands like L'Oreal and Cover Girl in an attempt to save money. I am a mascara snob because it is the one makeup item I have to wear every day. I am SO happy I found this brand of mascara through a review on BuzzFeed. I love this brand just as much as the high-end versions. It completely coats the lashes and definitely gives the impression of length. I'd say it's closest to Dior, but thicker. I definitely recommend trying this brand of mascara." —Phoenix

Promising review: "I will admit I am a bit of a makeup snob and prefer to shop only at Sephora. But I hadn't found a holy grail primer there, so I thought it couldn't hurt to try this one — and I am so glad I did! It creates a smooth finish on your face before you put on foundation, and my makeup stays put all day. My makeup didn't even budge when I was in Croatia in 100-degree HUMID heat and on a kayak...so definitely recommend at least giving this a try!" —Keri

Promising review: "I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I think this product deserves it. I am an eyeliner snob and have been a long time user of Tarte's Double Take eyeliner. I loved the applicator tip and the vivid black color. A makeup loving friend of mine recommended I give the NYX Epic Ink Liner a try and WOW. I was blown away. The black shade stays intense and lasts ALL DAY. Literally, all day. I put my makeup on at 5 a.m. and by the time I get home, it still looks like I just applied it. The best part: I am getting the same results at one-third the cost. Buy. It. Now. You won't be disappointed." —Shelly Tiller

I cannot stress this enough, but you need to treat your lips like the rest of your skin!!! That includes exfoliating and moisturizing them. I'm a big fan of Poppy & Pout lip products (they're a small biz headquartered in Idaho Falls, Idaho) because they're formulated with natural ingredients and have the CUTEST packaging. Anyways, their lip scrubs are ahh-mazing and smell delicious. I have the Blood Orange Mint flavor and it's super refreshing (a hint of citrus with fresh mint). A little goes a long way, so you only need a dime sized amount to see results! I've used more expensive products in the past — I'm a self-proclaimed beauty snob — but I'm planning on re-purchasing this one. 😍

Promising review: "I wanted to order something while my step-daughter was visiting that would work with her color-treated long hair and my curly hair. As somewhat of a personal product snob, the cheap drugstore brands won't do for me, so I gave this a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the combination of price, ingredients (or lack thereof), and effectiveness. Both of us felt our hair was soft and manageable and we LOVED the maple scent! Great find! Would definitely recommend." —J. Hrebik

Promising review: "This small dial of blush has HUGE results of POP! I can use it for blush, eyeshadow, and add a little over my lipgloss for extra sparkle! The color is amazing in every pot that I have purchased; it stays on and is not immature or disco-like. I am a makeup snob and really enjoy this little surprise." —Holly Newman retired USAF

This is designed to work on all hair types, with reviewers with 2b–4c curls mentioning it worked for them!
Promising review: "I will be honest, I am pretty much a snob when it comes to hair products. I have tried just about everything under the sun to help with my bleached blonde fine curly hair. This stuff is great. I would definitely compare it to a more expensive product Olaplex 3. A little bit goes a long way, definitely brush it through in the shower and let it sit for a bit. My hair is so soft it is incredible." —Suzanne S

Promising review: "I have combination pale skin (oily T-zone and dry cheeks). I live in a hot, humid climate and I was attending a special event. I was very concerned about my eyeliner and mascara smudging my under eye, which happened to me all the time! With this powder, my makeup did not budge the entire night! My boyfriend commented that it looked the exact same as when I left the house, hours later. No touch-ups were needed. With my oily skin, I am usually forced to retouch every couple hours to reduce shine and fix smudged makeup. This powder keeps the shine away and everything in place. I save so much time and effort in annoying retouches. It keeps my makeup flawless. Also, it appears to smooth and minimize my under-eye area and pores. Now I use the powder every day! As somewhat of a brand snob, I almost bought a more expensive powder. This one works perfectly! Don't spend extra money. It is a must buy if you care about the longevity of your makeup." —Kat Girl

Promising review: "I was very skeptical before buying this product. I am 27 and had never used vitamin C before and my skin wasn't looking so great in my mid-twenties as it had when I was younger. This product has literally turned my skin around!! The results are night and day — no more breakouts, brighter skin, and an all around glowy look to it. I use it every other day because I do have sensitive skin so I want to build up to it. So far I have been beyond impressed especially because I am a skincare product snob. I apply it to a slightly damp face and apply sunscreen after! I highly recommend." —Katie Jones

You only have to use a little bit and it's very gentle (I use it one to two times per week and have skin that tends to be dry)." —Spike

Promising review: "AMAZING CONCEALER! I will admit to being a bit of a beauty snob, but I also believe that one can find good makeup at any price, you just have to be picky! This is the most life-changing makeup product I have ever owned! Here I was thinking that I generally got enough sleep to avoid needing concealer, when I get struck with a sudden bout of intense insomnia and my under-eye area goes nuts. I suddenly had dark circles! I paid attention to a report on the best concealers and was happy to find one that I could buy from Amazon! I guessed at the color, but I was right and I will happily continue to use this concealer! It hides my dark circles!" —ShellyBlythe

Promising review: "Winged eyeliner has been my thing for over 15 years. Practice makes perfect as they say so, but it turns out that the muscle memory doesn’t work the same when you’re trying to do someone else’s makeup. My daughter needed wings for Halloween, so I ordered this and it worked out perfectly. Since it worked so well on her, I decided that I might as well try it myself. I am a bit of an eyeliner snob because I have big eyes and again have had time to test a lot of products over the years but guys, this is really good. I would buy it even without the stamp part. Unlike most inexpensive brands, it didn’t look like I had an early 2000s-style smokey eye by the end of the day because it had smeared all over my eyelid. It did. not. budge. The only downside is that I’m now stuck thinking about all of the things I could’ve bought with the money I’ve spent on eyeliners that cost two, three, and four times as much." —Stephany Renae

Promising review: "I owned up to being a makeup snob but the drugstore brands have upped their game! My Becca primer was expensive so I tried what everyone said: Rimmel. It is awesome for oily skin. I've had zero breakouts. Flawless. Love!" —Amyss

It's also a great way to add length to your locks or protect your hair from heat damage. AND it's made from 100% virgin human hair.
Promising review: "The hair quality is similar to the $300–$500 wigs out there. It’s not really thick or thin; it’s perfect if you want a 'believable' look. I personally don’t use lace wigs for hairlines and I instead cut the lace completely off and leave an inch or so of my own natural hair out in the front and wear it like a three-quarter wig. My natural hair texture is identical to this hair so it blends perfectly. I purchased 22 inches and it looks even longer, which is awesome. It’s simply beautiful, and I’m a bit of a hair snob😩🤦🏽♀️ So just buy it. :)" —CreoleCandy

Promising review: "Honestly, I can be a bit of a product snob when it comes to hair care, but I needed some heat protection spray in a pinch, so I ordered this. It's lightweight and doesn't weigh down my hair, but works effectively to protect my hair from flat ironing. The real seller is the smell, though. It's probably the best-smelling hair product I've ever purchased. Not sure how to describe it, but it's kind of a rose-y, fruit-y scent. I will probably continue using this for heat protection over more high-end products." —Court

The active ingredient in this serum is hydroquinone, which has been known to help with melasma and other types of hyperpigmentation. FYI — remember to apply sunscreen in the morning to protect your skin from future damage!
Promising review: "I’m actually super impressed with this skincare line. I started using the hydroquinone two weeks ago and just started the retinoid cream last night. I have always been a snob when it comes to skincare, spending $$$ on a product. My skin tone has noticeable evened out and spots are fading all for a fraction of the cost." —EmeGracesMom
