One of the best things to do when you smoke weed is vibe out to some good music. Roll up and throw on some tunes.

Everyone has different tastes when it comes to their stoner music, though. While some people enjoy calm and relaxing tunes, others enjoy funk and bass-heavy cuts.

For me, I run back to a specific playlist almost every time I sit down for an extended smoke session.

There are just some select cuts that really stimulate my high. Music made by smokers just hits different, you know? Not all of these tracks are even about marijuana. But they enhance your experience nonetheless.

The cannabis community is all about sharing. I could sit here and share 100 songs to smoke to, but this is just one of my favorite (and many) playlists.

1. "Legalize It" by Peter Tosh

It doesn't really get more classic than this. "Legalize It" by Peter Tosh will make you feel high even if you don't smoke. Turn this hypnotizing track all the way up and indulge in the island vibes.

2. "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" by Pink Floyd

This epic journey of a song starts off serene and peaceful, like the birth of a galaxy. Then it explodes like the big bang into a beautiful mix of instrumentation. Like many of Pink Floyd's tracks, "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" twists and evolves into what feels like a new song several times.

3. "Still Blazin" by Wiz Khalifa

Of course Wiz Khalifa is on this list. "Still Blazin" is an immaculate mix of hip-hop and reggae. The smooth stoner's anthem was one of the singles that really put a young Wiz on the map.

4. "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley

The great Bob Marley will grace this list more than once. However, "Three Little Birds" really hits the spot. The positive message and groovy bass line will have your hips shaking and head nodding while you hit the ganja.

It's hard not to feel good when listening to this generation-defining Gorillaz megahit. There's just something about those haunting vocals and reverberating guitars that hits the stoner soul. "Feel Good Inc." will uplift your spirits...along with that Mary Jane, of course.

Speaking of Mary Jane...this Rick James hit is so damn happy, you can tell he was high as hell when he made this track. This song sounds like what I would imagine floating on a cloud of weed would feel like.

7. "Uptown Top Ranking" by Althea and Donna

More legendary island vibes. Althea and Donna created a timeless record with "Uptown Top Ranking." Whisk yourself away from your current surroundings and melt into this Caribbean jam.

8. "Marijuana" by Kid Cudi

I can't even say the word "marijuana" without immediately thinking about this song. The dizzying pianos are entrancing on this Kid Cudi banger. Get high and get lost in this masterpiece.

9. "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" by Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg

The Doc and the Dogg took the world by storm with this hip-hop classic. The bass line is so damn smooth, I want to float away just vibing to it. "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" should never be listened to without a blunt in hand. Period.

"Kaya" isn't a super-popular Marley track, but I don't know why. The funky guitars on this one just mesh with Marley's merry vocals so well that it creates a jubilant vibe. Blaze up!

The Beatles are skilled at capturing the feeling of being stoned and putting it into music, and that's what they do on "Strawberry Fields Forever." Get lost in some weed and this trippy track.

Every time this song plays, I start seeing scenes from Pineapple Express. Roll up some paper planes and bump M.I.A.'s hit "Paper Planes." It only makes sense.

This song has nothing to do with smoking (although everything Snoop does kinda has SOMETHING to do with smoking...no?). But DAMN, this instrumental is just so trippy and gorgeous when you're stoned. Get lost in this pretty beat as you blow some good-good.
