So it says some fans of Harry Potter have read GoT. Then it states some people who have read GoT also like Hunger Games. The final statement is that some Harry Potter fans like Game of Thrones. The issue is the “some” in all of those statements. Let’s say we have Alan, Barry, and Cody. Alan and Barry both like Harry Potter, Barry and Cody both have read Game of Thrones, and Cody likes Hunger Games. If we look that this we have some Harry Potter fans reading Game of Thrones (Barry) and we have some Game of Thrones readers liking the Hunger Games (Cody), but we don’t have any Harry Potter fans liking the Hunger Games. For these problems you just need to find one example that shows it is not true, and this is an example of where it’ll be false. Hope that clarifies things!

The problem says “Yesterday was Wednesday” in it. The answer is based upon the information given in the problem, not the current day of the week.

Pet peeve here: the first one isn’t a set of acronyms, it’s a set of initialisms. Acronyms are words like NASA or SCUBA, where it’s an abbreviation, but you say the word. Initialisms are ones where you say each letter individually, like LOL or FBI. All three listed in the first question are initialisms, and not acronyms.

So the idea is that if 2 teens took 2 minutes to write 2 posts, then 2 teens would take 1 minute to write 1 post (because they are doing half the work). That means each one of the teens does 1 minute worth of work to write that post, so if one was working alone, she would need 2 minutes to do all the work. This is a normal SAT type problem. There is a wonderful chart you can do that makes your life a bit easier when these problems crop up.

I did some reading on this a while ago, and to get 4K streaming through Netflix you have to pay for the family plan, since it is the only one with the UHD option (it’s in the FAQ). I’m not sure what browsers support the 4K streaming though.

You missed the most gif’able moment: at minute 8:50, look at the facial expressions of the band members.

#2 reminded me of one of my housemates. He found a snake and EMAILED us to inform us of the snake in his room, after leaving the apartment and doing nothing about it, besides putting a towel under his door. None of us checked our emails until, much, much later. Fortunately it was just a fake snake and he was just thought it was real. We yelled at him and told him to at least wake us up if he found a freaking snake in the house.
