Somebody Invented Hook-Free Magnetic Hangers

They look cool, but do they work?

1. Cliq hangers don’t have hooks — they use magnets instead.

Made by German-Latvian design company Flow, Cliq hangers can support up to 4.4 pounds of weight, and fit any round or square metallic bar.

The magnets will lose strength over time, admit creators Georg Dwalischwili and Janis Karklins, but only at a rate of 1% a year.
