Bad News: You've Probably Been Wearing Your Bra Wrong This Whole Time

#Boobtruther.

ALL RIGHT BUCKLE UP. On Thursday, Twitter user Brittany Packnett shared a tag from her new bra that explained the "proper" way to wear an over-the-shoulder boulder-holder.

.@ThirdLove just told I’ve been putting on my bras wrong for twenty years. You probably have, too.

According to the instructions, you should wear your bra on the loosest hook first; pull your breasts up into the cups; and then as time goes on, tighten the straps.

The idea is that as time goes on, and you continue to wear your bra, the straps and hooks stretch out. By moving from loosest hook to tightest hook over time, you ensure a snug fit.

For many, THIS WAS STUNNING NEWS.

@ThirdLove MY WHOLE POST-PUBESCENT LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE.

There was consoling...

And solidarity.

And hugging?

Others claimed to have known about this bra hack 4ever.

@MsPackyetti @ThirdLove I've always done this.... I am a boob genius!

And some shared their favorite bra-sizing tips.
