This Transgender Model Just Graduated College And Got Signed To A Major Agency

Hari Nef ~just~ graduated from Columbia and she's already got a major contract.

Nef, along with Valentijn De Hingh, are the agency's two transgender faces.

Other well-known transgender models include Brazilian beauty Lea T. and Andreja Pejic.

In 2014, Lea T. was named the face of Redken's Chromatics hair color and just this year, Pejic was chosen as the face of Make Up For Ever.

Nef has already starred in campaigns for Hood By Air, Eckhaus Latta, and Adam Selman.

And she recently starred in a video for "He, She, Me," by Devonté Hynes and Neneh Cherry, commissioned by Selfridges for its Agender collection.

The collection promoted the idea of unisex, gender-free clothing.

Nef looks forward to a time when everyone feels a lot freer about their gender.

"I think there are many people who identify as male, I think there are many people (like myself) who identify as female, and I think there are many people who might (or might eventually) identify as somewhere in-between," she said in an interview with Fashionista. "Like, thank goodness for a third option, you know?"
