People are accusing Forever 21 of selling a shirt with Nazi symbology in it.
The shirt, which retails for $10.90, contains a couple of questionable symbols.
For one, the print repeats the number 88, which is white supremacist code for "Heil Hitler."
The shirt also contains a repeated lightning bolt symbol similar to the icon for Nazi SS agents, or Schutzstaffel.
The shirt's symbology came to light after two shoppers in Modesto, California — Amie Alton and Stella Lopez — noticed the design and alerted the store's employees.
"I've seen that tagged on stuff growing up, and know what that is," Alton told Fox40.
In 2016, the retail chain was also linked to Nazism, after a hoax was perpetrated against the store, claiming it was selling swastika rings.
UPDATE: A spokesperson from Forever 21 sent the following statement to BuzzFeed:
“Forever 21 takes feedback and product concerns very seriously. With regards to the t-shirt in question, upon receiving feedback from our customers, we took immediate action to have the product removed from our website. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by the product.”
