People Are Obsessed With This Clever Coffee Buy And Here's Why You Should Be Too

Australians are the undisputed kings of coffee and this just proves it.

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

Pod coffee capsules are hardly a new invention — but there's still a pretty loud crowd of self-confessed purebred coffee drinkers who don't consider them to be the real deal.

And let me tell you, at the start of this year, I would have considered myself one of 'em.

But after ~imbibing~ in more than my fair share of free coffee pods at work, I finally took the plunge and bought my own machine for home.

My issue was, I hated buying boxes of the aluminium pods — which weren't environmentally-friendly and, quite frankly, didn't live up to my cafe-quality expectations. But I was still saving money.

Enter Pod & Parcel. To be honest, I first heard about these guys through an absolute battering of targeted Instagram ads. The creepy algorithm obviously knew I'd been searching for sustainable pod options, so I was consistently being served ads for their coffee.

And let me tell you, this is the first and only time that I've been thrilled with social media marketing. Because Pod & Parcel is that bloody good.

Pod & Parcel are an Australian, family-owned coffee company who live by the philosophy: More taste, less waste.

They were the first coffee pod brand to pack cafe-quality coffee into compostable pods! Both the pod capsule and sleeve are completely biodegradable and compostable, which is a win for you and Mother Nature.

Pod & Parcel are also serious about quality. All their coffee is specialty-grade, meaning it's equal to or above 80 points on a 100-point scale, in accordance with the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) guidelines.

They have up to 11 different specialty varieties for sale, which are all roasted in the world's coffee mecca — Melbourne, Australia.

All of their pods are compatible with Nespresso Original machines.

A box of 10 pods will set you back no more than $10 AUD (or $7.90 USD), or you can get a sample pack of 60 pods, which has a selection of six of their most popular coffee roasts, for just $57 AUD ($47 USD).

When you work that out as a cost per cup, it's incredible how much cash you can save!

And the best news is, they deliver their coffee pods straight to your door! Which means you don't have to battle through a crowd of people to get your caffeine fix.
