Which Hogwarts House Are You Based On Your Potter Preferences?

Which spell would you use most often in your daily life?

Which Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher do you think you'd learn best from?

What magical creature do you want as a pet?

If Netflix or HBO made a series based on the Wizarding World, what would you want it to be about?

Which Wizarding career would you like to pursue?

Brave and chivalrous, you will stand up and fight for the lives and reputations of everybody you care about, especially yourself. However, the nerve and courage can be unrestrained, so you also tend to be rather reckless. When things don't go your way, you have quite a bit of a short temper. However what makes you proudest of being a Gryffindor is that 9 times out of 10, YOU are the hero. Unless you're Peter Pettigrew, in which case, bugger off. Best School Subjects: Transfiguration and Flying.

GRYFFINDOR

Don't let the haters get you down, because you are in the happiest of houses, Hufflepuff. While other houses have inept gifts and blood, you have all the best qualities to succeed whatever you choose to do. Loyal, patient, kind, and hard-working, nobody questions the dedication of a Hufflepuff. Are you more timid than others? Sure. Bold and competitive? Not in the slightest. But as the heart of Hogwarts, your honesty, ethics, and tolerance make the Wizarding world a better place. Plus you live right next to the kitchen so....SNACKS ALWAYS. Best School Subjects: Herbology and Care and Keeping of Magical Creatures.

HUFFLEPUFF

If the Hufflepuffs are the heart of Hogwarts, you and your Bird Nerd Ravenclaws are certainly the brains. Few in Ravenclaw will earn anything less than E's and O's on their O.W.L.'s, for their intelligence, creativity, and wisdom make them the best scholars of the school. Your wit and individuality also make you a noticeable personality on campus, and no bullying can change your dedication to your true self. However, your pursuit of knowledge is set above any dedication to rules or boundaries, and you might experiment in magic that others would call dangerous and daring, or at least rather odd. While it is important to be cautious, don't let the old traditions prevent you from discovering something world-changing. Best School Subjects: Basically everything, but especially Charms, Astronomy, and Divination.

RAVENCLAW

It's a complicated life, being a Slytherin. Much of your house is defined by where you come from, for you are certainly of "pure blood", and no doubt your ancestors have been Slytherins for generations. So there's a lot of pressure on your shoulders to live up to their standards, and therefore their way of thinking. While the cunning and fraternity of Slytherins have earned them a reputation of being the snobs and bullies of Hogwarts, and it certainly doesn't help that most of You-Know-Who's followers were Slytherins, most don't realize that your instincts of self-preservation and ambition make you a formidable friend. Clever and determined, you will slink your way through every sticky situation, and emerge as smooth as ever. Like a snake shedding it's skin, you can put on different airs, mimic old traditions of your house, and flip between personalities with every new person you meet, so some may think you're duplicitous. You prefer to see it as being very socially savvy. Like Captain Kirk of Star Trek reprograming the Kobayashi Maru test to win a no-win scenario, your resourcefulness and cunning will take you to the top of any subject and industry you go to. Best School Subjects: Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
