How Will You Meet Your Soulmate?

You'll do a favor for a friend and help drive your future soulmate to New York City. You'll become friends, even though you argue about sexual attraction always getting in the way of friendships. You'll stay friends for years — decades even — until you hook up and it gets temporarily weird. But then, on New Year's, you'll make up and realize you want to be together forever.

First you bump into each other while Christmas shopping. Then you exchange numbers (one written in a book, the other on a $5 dollar bill), deciding to leave everything up to fate. At first, it doesn't look too hopeful, but years later, you encounter the book and $5 bill, proving there is nothing keeping you apart.

You'll start messaging each other, somehow never realizing how physically close you actually are. You even end up meeting face to face as professional enemies, having to fight for a sweet location in the heart of the city for your businesses. However, you keep chatting online and eventually figure out each others' identities and that you're more alike than you ever imagined.

You'll know each other foreveeeeeer, but because you'll also go through puberty together (ugh, middle school), you'll have some rough patches and not stay close. Luckily, via pure magic, you'll be transported 17 years into the future and fix the mistakes you made, bringing you and your best friend together for good.

You'll casually meet in a café, only to come back the next day and realize your crush doesn't remember who you are. That's because they got into a car accident and have a rare type of amnesia where they think it's the same day every day. Still, you live every day to its fullest and work around this obstacle because that's what happens when you're in love.

Your ex will break up with you seemingly out of nowhere for a much hotter and wealthier celebrity. Ouch. To recover you go on vacation, only to find them both in the same hotel as you. Life couldn't get worse, right? Wrong! Because you befriend the hotel clerk and end up having a way better relationship with them than you ever did with your ex.

You'll meet at a club you don't normally go to and after a few shots and killer dance moves later, you'll end up drunkenly hooking up. At first it's rocky, because you both still have to really grow as people, but once you do, you end up with a perfect, loving family.

Many years ago, you went on a date you were really excited for but that you royally messed up. Now, 13 years later, you've hired a private detective to track down your long-lost date because you can't move on. Along the way, everyone you know falls in love with them too, making getting their attention extra difficult. Eventually, your efforts pay off and you end up together.

After your significant other cheats on you and dumps you after spring break, you, out of bitterness, say that you could make anyone be just like your ex if you give them the right makeover. This transforms into a bet where you have to make the geekiest person you know into social royalty. Along the way, you fall for each other (even though you end up losing the bet.)

You'll be co-workers, but you won't realize you like them until a mysterious curse makes you relive Feb. 2 every day. You start every day maddeningly anew, but, with time, you grow and start to use your time wisely and slowly become a better person. You eventually get closer to your co-worker and fall for them, and your kiss not only breaks the curse, but also starts the rest of your lives together.

You'll meet and even date briefly in college, only to reunite years later when they're married and you're in love with a futuristic machine (literally). Somehow, though, you'll make it work.

As you do this, you fall more and more in love with them, and they with you, and after one sensual face-kiss later, you are Vespa-ing away into the sunset.

Because his usual partner is dealing with a pregnancy, you decide to take their place and train for an important performance, which brings you closer together. Though your family initially disapproves, the power of dance is too strong and you end up together in the end.

You'll be so mean to them, but they'll catch on and respond to every one of your demands with "as you wish." After you realize you love each other, they'll leave you in pursuit of a big fortune, which will make you think you've lost them forever and even lead you to consider marrying someone else.
