Hundreds Of Family Heirlooms Lost And Found In Oklahoma

A Facebook group is helping connect victims of the tornadoes in Shawnee and Moore with their scattered belongings.

“found in our pasture so west of Mounds”

The instructions are simple: “Please post any pictures or documents that blow into your yard in hopes of returning them to those impacted by the tornado.”

So far, it appears dozens of items are on their way back to their owners or have already been returned.

“Found this pic this morning in our pasture. Just west of Oologah, Ok”

“Found this in Stroud, OK possibly debris from either Prague or Shawnee.”

“Found in my backyard barnsdall ok no info on back”

“These floated into the street in front of my boyfriends house in Tulsa.”

“Found south of Olive.”

“Found in Sapulpa……no writing on back. Please God let these people be safe!”

“Found in Catoosa, Oklahoma.”

“Found this picture in my yard tonight. Kiefer, OK”

“Found in Sand Springs.”

“Found this picture on 5/20/13 at 4th & Eastern in Moore. Please message me to claim.”

“Partial says January on the back. Found in Berryhill”

“Found in moore off eastern”
