You're Dr. Gordon! He isn't necessarily a killer and thought there was somehow a way of getting out of the game in a way where everyone lives. Perhaps it's the ego or pride of being a doctor, saving lives all around, but he has an ironic sense of loyalty as he alluded to cheating on his wife.

You're medical examiner, Logan Nelson! After his wife was murdered, justice was never served. The cop who was on the case was corrupt just like the legal system, and Logan never forgave the cop nor the system. Therefore, seeing if he was just as worthy as Jigsaw, he took revenge into his own hands as he was still filled with spite and anger for the passing years. He was able to pass off as a poor guy who lost his wife and used his scars on his back as a cover that he was tortured while overseas as a soldier. He felt broken after coming home from war, but Jigsaw helped him overcome his helplessness and taught him to speak for the dead.
