World's Smallest Snake

The Barbados threadsnake is the smallest snake in the world.

The recently discovered species is as thin as a spaghetti noodle and measures just 3.9 inches long. Because of its small size, it is susceptible to attacks from anything ranging from centipedes to spiders...not to mention it's blind. I think I'd be hard-pressed to come up with an animal that's more defenseless than this one.
