Chrissy Teigen Responded To A Tweet That Accused Her Of "Using" Her Pregnancy Loss For Self-Promotion

And her followers were quick to offer their support.

Chrissy Teigen has been incredibly open about the devastating pregnancy loss she experienced in October. So when someone on Twitter recently suggested she was "using" it as "a means to keep promoting" herself, she spoke up.

“Anything to please you," Teigen clapped back.

The comment appeared in Teigen's replies to a post that the cookbook author shared about watching the 2008 film Baby Mama starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

“Watching Baby Mama again and Tina and Amy are just such an incredible pairing, always,” she tweeted. “They’re not on [Twitter] but someone tell them that if they’re looking for a ménage, I got a tricycle.”

Teigen’s response was quick to get love from her friends and followers. Actor Patricia Arquette said the comment was “intentionally cruel and ignorant.”

And TV host S.E. Cupp called the comment "disgusting."

@chrissyteigen Disgusting. There’s a moral crisis in this country of people who get off by hurting other people they’ll never meet. We need to rediscover our empathy. ❤️

Teigen previously opened up about her pregnancy loss on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"Of course, everything was such a blur and thinking back to it now, I’m still in therapy about it," she said. "And I’m still coming to terms with it in a way."

Teigen's story has inspired "thousands of letters" from others who share her pain. "Obviously it's so painful to go through something like this — something that was inside your body that you were nurturing," she shared in November. "The support for the both of us has just been so beautiful. So incredible."
