You’ve never felt like you identify as either an extrovert or an introvert, and that might be because you’re an ambivert. You sit roughly in the middle of the scale, so you’re both happy in your own company and in a group, and while in some situations you might come across as quiet, in others you are simply the life and soul of the party. Your ambivert nature allows you to have many different types of relationships with many different people and to move seamlessly between social groups.

You’re not so sure where life is taking you right now, and sometimes that makes you want to escape. You knew from a young age that you were born to parent. You’re caring and love to look after people. You’re probably a teacher, or a nurse, a social worker, or in a similar profession that sees you helping people day in and day out. While you love doing that at work, you’re ready to extend your own family and start doing it at home too. You can’t wait to experience all the big moments of being a parent, like watching them walk for the first time to their first day at school.

You’re excited to start a family

You’re doing some serious work on yourself right now. After finding yourself stuck in a rut, you decided to take the pro-active approach and start to change some things about yourself and your situation. Maybe you’re moving, or maybe you’ve just gone through a break-up, or maybe you’re considering a change of career. No matter what you’re doing you’re doing it for the right reasons — you should be proud of yourself for the moves that you’re making.

You’re going through a stage of transformation

You still feel like you’re a child dressed up in their parent’s clothing. You’re not overly confident in your ability to effectively adult, but you’re getting there. While you might occasionally forget to pay some bills and don’t think you’ll ever be a morning person, you need to give yourself credit where credit is due. When you next find yourself lacking in confidence try to think of all the skills that you have mastered and you’ll soon be nailing another.

You feel like you're a bit behind when it comes to adulting

You’re an old soul living in the modern world. You have a conflicted relationship with things like social media, while they allow you to stay connected and discover more of the world, you often feel that they sometimes prevent you from living your life in the moment. Experiment by leaving your phone at home sometimes, or swapping scrolling through your newsfeed for flicking through a book instead.

You dream of a life where you go back to basics
