If you want to claw your way back into their good books (and potentially into their top spot), then try to be more proactive when it comes to doing your chores, or simply carve out more time to check in with your parents. Take it from a favourite child, parents _love_ being asked about their life pre-kids, so delve in and prepare to learn more about the person you call 'mum' or 'dad'.
