    Andrew Garfield Was Trying To Convince The World He Wasn't In "Spider-Man: No Way Home" And Here Are A Few Of His Attempts

    Andrew Garfield is a big fat liar, and we love him for it.

    Spider-Man: No Way Home has been killing it at the box office, breaking pandemic records, and the highest-grossing Sony film of all time. Granted, most Marvel movies have that effect, especially Spider-Man movies, but this one had a surprise that most people expected but weren't sure if it would come to fruition. That secret was kept in huge part due to one person and one person alone: Mr. Andrew Garfield.

    After a photo of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire leaked, the onslaught of questions came to Andrew while promoting several projects. Although Garfield states that it's photoshopped, we now know it wasn't, and his laughter throughout this interview is a huge tell that he was lying, but good on him for staying spoiler-free.

    If you've seen this segment from WIRED, you know its celebrities addressing some of the most searched questions on Google about themselves. You can imagine that leading up to No Way Home a lot of them were about his role in the movie. Again, he stays committed to the lie with his grade A acting and charm.

    Josh Horowitz on his Happy Sad Confused podcast captured the video that went viral of Andrew Garfield claiming that he feels stuck in a game of "Mafia" or "Werewolf," where everybody believes him to be the culprit but that he isn't. In this follow-up interview, Josh brings up how viral their previous interview went, and after getting his response to his reaction to said video states, "I don't know if it's the lighting there, but you kind of look like a werewolf." Good call out, Josh; we all knew it but needed you to say it out loud.

    While promoting his Netflix movie Tick, Tick... Boom! on the Today Show, Garfield almost made it out of the interview without the dreaded Spider-Man question. Then right as the interview was ending, Hoda and Savannah were able to squeeze it in, and Garfield replied perfectly, "You guys are really good at your jobs, but I'm better at mine." Yes, you are Andrew — yes you are.

    Here we have Garfield yet again proclaiming he feels he's in a game of "Werewolf" and that he never received a call. The smile that hits his face whenever someone asks seems to be a dead giveaway for anybody playing poker with him in the future. It seems to be a part of his bluff.

    While promoting The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Garfield returned to Entertainment Tonight and was hit with the hypothetical of how he would feel if his version of Spider-Man made it into the MCU, to which he replies, "It's too big a question for me to answer."
