The New Testament of both the Catholic and Protestant Bibles includes the same 27 books. However, the Old Testament of the Catholic Bible includes seven [deuterocanonical books](http://www.usccb.org/bible/understanding-the-bible/faq.cfm) not found in the Old Testament of the Protestant Bible.

There are 66 books in the Protestant Bible and 73 books in the Catholic Bible.

First things first, how many books are there in either the Protestant or Catholic Bible?

Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament; Matthew is the first book of the New Testament.

Name the FIRST book

Ruth, Esther, and Judith (Catholic Bible only) are named after women.

Psalms has 150 chapters.

In order, they are Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, and Philippians.

Revelation, the last book of the New Testament, is filled with apocalyptic imagery.
