Firstly you need to be solely focused on the game ahead
Creative thoughts should centre around sport, and sport only
...so stop watching anything else, unless it is sports related
Your indepth analysis should show everybody that you are the expert in this field
Gives sensible, balanced opinions...and memorise team names
Use breaks to perfect your copy and don't let your mind wander
And finally, choose a strong conclusion which proves your superiority over all those arm-chair critics who wish they had your way with words
So maybe Zach's not the greatest sports reporter of all time...but I guess there are people out there who are worse at their jobs
